The Rams will have to carry him on the 53 roster because of Matt's health issues. It will also mean it changes the game day actives too. They will be looking at needing that #3QB to be active each game. Hey Jimmy G is better than most #2s but Stafford is going to be counted on to carry this team. But I don't want more talk from Sean about him playing beyond this year. I understand they are trying to make a SB run to send him out on top. But at some point reality sets in. I hope Matt can play the whole season and not need games off. I'm a Ram fan not a Jimmy G fan. This offense is predicated upon Matt's skill set. Jimmy is a good backup here and there during the season. But we need to hope Matt can stay healthy most of the season if the Rams are really going to contend because this offense is built around his skills not Jimmy's. If the OL holds up and plays well this year then that would be the biggest help to Jimmy if he has to play here and there. Jimmy needs a solid OL and when he gets that level of play from the OL he's better than most #2QBs.Sean made a huge mistake last year not playing his starters in that last game vs the Hawks. If he does they probably win that game. Which would have changed the seeding. That probably would have meant playing the Eagles in 41 degree weather not a blizzard. IMO they would have beaten the birds and ended up in the SB last year. So yeah IMO Sean can't afford to simply concede a game like that. by Youngblood22 4 hours 19 minutes ago Total posts: 156 Joined: Aug 31 2023 LA Coliseum Rookie Training Camp 2025 POST #52 I would say he didn't concede the game but left it to the back ups to win it. by /zn/ 1 hour 56 minutes ago Total posts: 6950 Joined: Jun 28 2015 Maine Hall of Fame Training Camp 2025 POST #53 Elvis, Joe Pendleton liked this post /zn/ wrote:You know who gets a lot of positive buzz from both the coaches and the reporters who have seen camp practices? After one week of practice, it’s clear Landman has emerged as the frontrunner in that group. He was wearing the green dot in Friday’s jog-through and has been working with the first-team defense, relaying calls from Chris Shula to his teammates on the field. Sean McVay couldn’t be more impressed by the Rams’ offseason addition, saying he’s “done a great job leading the way for that group.”“He's been awesome. He’s a great communicator,” McVay said. “He’s got great command. He’s got the ability to elevate people. He's got a great feel for attacking the football. He got another punch-out today. I just like the way that this guy's got a great vibe. He's just got some natural leadership traits and communication skills where he understands what's going on from an all-22 perspective. I think when you're talking about a guy that's at that inside linebacker position, it's key and critical. He's done a great job leading the way for that group.”If he can put together a breakout season, it’ll elevate the play of the entire defense after the Rams struggled at that position last year. 2 by Elvis 26 minutes 13 seconds ago Total posts: 41576 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: Training Camp 2025 POST #54 TOPIC AUTHOR RFU Season Ticket Holder Reply 6 / 6 1 6 Display: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by: AuthorPost timeSubject Sort by: AscendingDescending Jump to: Forum Rams/NFL Other Sports Rams Fans United Q&A's Board Business 54 posts Jul 27 2025
