I dunno about putting a QB on our practice squad that knows our O inside/out. Wouldn't a team want to pick up a guy like that before we play them? I do know that when a team does poach a PS player, they have to put him in their 53 man roster. I don't know how long they have to keep him on that roster. Does anyone else?

I believe the answer to that is 3 weeks.

If Bennett were on the PS and another team tried to sign him, Rams would have the option to put him on the their 53 and keep him.

Unless the rule changed, the emergency 3rd QB has to be on the 53 man roster in case the Rams care about that.

I would just like to add, MS got snubbed big time in 2011
Got beat by Eli Manning and Cam Newton,
but MS numbers were way better than both of them,
MS stats: 5038yds/passing, 41/TD, QB rating, 97.2,
all three of these stats are better than Eli and Cam.

Then he got snubbed again in 2021,
during his winning SB year.
MS had better yd & TD numbers than Rodgers, Cousins & especially Murray

Now, according to JB Long, he was given a PB award for 2021,
but it is not showing up on PFR or Wikipedia,
and that's what sportswriters look at.

As far as I'm concern, MS should have 5 PB

And when it's time for him to be voted in the HOF,
our L.A. sportswriter should make it known for the 2021 season,
also, Detroit sportswriter should make it known for the snub in 2011.

Bringing Detroit to two playoffs,
while playing with mostly bad teams in Detroit.

Then playing in 3 out 4 playoffs with the RAMs,
while winning a SB.
