Man, Humphries has all the upside (other than age) EXCEPT for injuries. Here's hoping the Sports Science at LA can keep him on the field. I do think he's gonna start-- he's not just for depth.

before this signing, I asked Nate to come up with a list of Offensive Tackles, and Humpries name was on the list. In short here is what Nate said "He’s still a “reliable” tackle ... (but) lack of Pro Bowl caliber play.

At what the Rams are paying him it is worth bringing him in. Not much lost even if he is cut before opening day. I expect the Rams to keep their eyes open for other higher quality OTs that might become available later.

$2.5 mil for a LT is not a lot of money but it's more than the vet minimum (just over a mil) which is what Quessenberry signed for...

But most of it is guaranteed. That means he's either a Ram or if cut, a well-off couch potato.
