He's an interesting signing. He's been crap lately as a pass blocker, but he looks like a decent run blocker. With Quessenberry you have to wonder what's up? Quessenberry looks like a decent swing OT.

So is Humphries in for a camp OT or do they have a projected role for him? IMO Humphries is a clear downgrade to Havenstein. I wonder if they aren't sold on Rob's health?

With this signing and Quessenberry does make me wonder a little. Is somebody hurt? Are they down on some of the guys they have, like McClendon.

I mean, could easily be just kicking the tires on a couple of vets in an area where Rams lack depth but has me at least curious if there's more going on...

Man, I've lost all faith in McClendon.....this signing might provide us with more quality depth.

I remember the general feeling among fans when Ty Nsekhe was the primary backup at LT. He was considered washed up but under the circumstances he played well. So here we are once again. I think we need to concede that the Rams have info fans don't and saw something in Nsekhe others didn't. So I won't say Humphries is done before he actually shows it on the field. It wasn't that long ago he was a Pro Bowl LT. Then yes injuries hit him hard.

If he can have a healthy season and return to form the Rams will have a better LT overall. Jackson is a good LT but not a great LT. So if Humphries can simply be good, then the Rams will be fine.
