I've watched pretty close to zero UFL but Bryce Perkins offensive player of the year and in the championship game:

The UFL papered St. Louis with free/cheap tickets to try and get a few bodies in the Dome for the championship game not featuring the Battlehawks. But it was tough as there was an MLS match, sold out Dave Matthews band, sold out Incubus concert, local girl Nikki Glazer at a theater, the St. Louis symphony at a different theater, the opening of the Muny, a microbrew event, the end of the protests.

Friends went to the game with free tickets they got. They tried to move everyone on the TV camera view side once there.

Sounds like they had about 15k at the game. I watched some of the first half because of Perkins but lost interest.

St. Louis is killing it. The rest of the league not so much. TV ratings are a bit less than last year but sounds like it's full stream ahead for 2026 and beyond.

I don't know if a spring league can work. People still debating when exactly they should play.

Should they start right when the NFL is over and people are still in the habit of watching football every weekend? Wait even longer to start?

Who knows.

And like i've said before, there aren't enough good QBs for all 32 NFL teams so pickings are awfully slim for any other league...
