It would be great! We'll have to find a way to stop the run.

I would be happy stopping the run in the first half of games. Teams don't usually run much in the second half down 27 points. If they average 5 - 6 ypc, so what? :lol2:

6 possessions in the first half ... One punt, two field goals, three TDs ...
And the Rams defense throws a shut out. I'll go to LA through Omaha for that. We need George Thorogood to come up with a song for this.

Ramsey was getting some treatment at a physical therapy place I go to for PT in LA this past Friday. I missed him by about 30 minutes. He apparently answered any questions about LA saying . “I play for the Dolphins….for now.” And “we’ll see” Everyone said he looks a lot bigger in person than they expected. Oh ya, they were giving him therapy treatment on his calf/ankle.

Miami's in a tough spot. Because of that contract I'm not sure anyone will trade with them. If they cut him the cap savings is minus 14 million because of he dead cap hit. Which obviously isn't a savings. A trade would save them almost 6 mil. But again, its gonna be hard to find a trade partner. Cutting him causes a dead cap hit of almost 31 mil this year and over 18 mil next year. They already have a dead cap hit this year at 38 mil. It seems to me Miami would be better to just keep him another year. A post June 1 cut or trade next year would save them 18 mil in cap space.

That could work 2 ways. It could lower his salary request or it could raise it if somebody signs Alexander to a nice deal. I think Philly might take a run at Jaire. They always seem to pursue players like that.

Yeah but they've already pissed him off (and burned that bridge?). Is a disgruntled player worth the saved cap hit?

Seems like trading him for not very much and eating some of his 2025 salary is gonna be the move but we'll see...
