Agreed but there is a sizeable difference between a first place schedule and a last place schedule, especially in a league that is often decided by one game. If the niners stay mostly healthy they will be a problem for the Rams, hence what the betters call it even on who wins first place. The NFC west is going to be tough.

Well simple fact. You don’t know how that team will play next season. They might suck then they might be good.

The Niners have their Quarterback in play Purdy

Running back Mcafrey

Coach Shannahan in play

And a elite defensive end in Nick Bosa

They will have a high draft. The Niners plan on replenishing those players through the draft. I can see them drafting Golden from Texas to replace Debo and have those same play call in play.

Could be Loveland or Warren this pick won’t be a regular interior guy. It will be impact that’s what Shannahan does. The strength of schedule is huge.

They realized they gotta get young. A lot of that is because of us. They will be a team we have to pay attention to.

They’re not on our level. But they are the definite number 2 team. And you always have a shot if Mcafrey plays.

All the signs point to a FO and HC desperate to win this year. If they don't make the playoffs the purge at the top will be a reality IMO.

If the Rams can sweep them this year it will be a huge stake in their heart.

True about first vs last. Also true that the whiners will likely be a problem as they always are. If the Rams have good health, they will win a lot of games. I hope they make the playoffs and get at least one home game. And, have an actually HFA at that game. There’s a long way to go between now and then. A lot can happen.

I nominate this quote about the 49ers uniform as the Quote Of The Month!

Yeah, we can't predict injuries. These days its hard for a team to have a deep roster. A few key injuries can derail a whole season.

And yes, the 49ers do have a 3 game advantage in the schedule. We have Philly they have NY Giants. We have Detroit they have Chicago. We have Baltimore they have Cleveland.

Doesn't mean we'll lose all three and they'll win all 3. We will have a much tougher route to the division title. But we're also a better team. Time will tell how much that makes a difference.
