I dunno that Cincy wouldn't consider a massive trade for him. He is a top 3-5 QB in my book.
IF we were willing to trade a bunch for him...like next year's two ones; our one in 27 and 28 might do it. It would certainly open up their cap space and allow them to look at elite QB talent next year. BUT, I don't think the Rams would do it IF they truly believe they can get to an elite QB prospect in next year's draft, having Matthew here to groom the kid. Also, if we did trade for Joe, it would cripple our cap space for when all of our very young talent will get paid big bucks. Isn't that kinda what Cincy has done with Joe and his receivers? They're probably gonna lose all-world DE Hendrickson over it.

Back when Stafford was talking to other teams about a possible trade and Burrow was lobbying the Bengals to bring his receivers back, seemed like a plausible scenario.

Not so much now...

I don’t think it’s possible this season. Post season, it may be depending on how things go.

Such as: Rams win the SB. Stafford retires. Bengals suck and Joe is annoyed with his situation.

It all depends on how Cincy's season goes. Be pretty hard sell for Cincy fans if they make the playoffs. I'd think a playoff loss and Taylor might be gone before Burrow!

Normally I would agree with the sentiment that there is no way. But....

2026 is a contract year and there is no guarantee they can resign him.

2026 will be a deep year for rookie QBs. I think it will come down to how well they finish next year. If they finish with a mediocre record they may look at their roster and think they have a mediocre roster so why pay elite level QB wages? Those 3 picks gets them the best QB next year and 5 years of minimal QB1 salary to build the team around him.

Burrows himself will be looking at his career. At this point he's looking for a ring even more than money. Is he willing the waste his entire career with a team that can't build a championship team around him?

The reason they can't win is because their OL is mediocre at best. They haven't figured out that building the OL should be their top priority. They drafted a OG in the second and an OT in the 4th. They don't look to be concerned about their OL.

Ultimately it will be up to Joe. The Bengals might figure to get something or risk not getting anything.

It simply shows that the Rams should have multiple options for QB next year.

I bought up Joe Burrow on here. It’s tough now because the Bengals spent all the money on the receivers. They never do that. Chase and Higgins got all the money that’s why they cant pay.

They are tied to Burrow. Like Gianiss The Bengals gave Burrow all his pieces.

First off, they don't have to sign him, they can tag him.

Drafting OL with their 2nd and 4th pick means 'they haven't figured out building their OL is important'?. What would....drafting OL with their first 4 picks? As Tom Jackson used to say on ESPN "COME ON MAN!" In truth they drafted them in the 3rd and 5th after drafting Mims with their first pick last year.

In addition to those draft picks they resigned 2 of their OL and a UFA. Yeah definitely not serious about the OL. Their downfall was their defense so much so, the DC was fired. But they also went defense with 3 of their first 4 picks in this draft.

And finally the Rams will have multiple options for QB next year. Stafford and their choice of backups.

I hope not. I’d love to see him in L.A.

He’s the vet QB who makes the most sense to me and has for a while.

Everyone has a price, including the Bengals. If Joe wants out in the future, it would likely not line up with Rams’ 2-3 year timelinr, as Action stated.
