POST #1 TOPIC AUTHOR A very good take on where the Rams stand right now in the 2026 draft. Their biggest need right now is answering what to do about the QB1 of the future.I think the point being made without pointing to one specific position is that everything is on the table for them and all setup by the 2025 trade with Atlanta. Most of us were scratching our heads about HUH? Especially when the return in 2025 was so minimal. In all fairness there were some on this board that suspected this to be the case so kudos to you guys because I think you guys were correct. But now all options are open to them to really blow the doors off the 2026 season. It's why IMO the rumor about Burrows has actual legs. But it also means they have the means to get the QB in the draft they like most.I also think they take a LT because I think their reservations about Alaric Jackson is well founded. They understand the importance of an elite LT after Whitworth. Jackson is good but not elite. I think three positions will be priorities next year, QB1 of the future, CB and LT. If Jackson doesn't improve his game, if he gets complacent I think they replace him. 2026 will be a contract year for him. RT is up in the air IMO. They will need clarity on their options at RT this year. Even if Forbes and Durant prove they are the CBs of the future they still need two more for rotation and depth. I think these guys are right, this past draft was a setup for a monster offseason next year. by Elvis 2 weeks 3 days ago Total posts: 41328 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: Everything is on the table in the next draft. POST #3 PARAM, actionjack liked this post I don't see our 2025 draft as minimal. Simply because our needs were not nearly as big after the last two great drafts we've had. I think we have gained some real quality depth (knowing we won't be able to re-sign all of our quality guys in a couple of years). IF we have drafted the right TE, I think we will see our O make a big jump this year, especially with Adams on board. 2 by PARAM 1 week 5 days ago Total posts: 13161 Joined: Jul 15 2015 Just far enough North of Philadelphia Hall of Fame Everything is on the table in the next draft. Because we didn't need starters. Minimal in terms of first round impact players, though they claim the TE would have been their choice at #26 had they not traded down. "Minimal" is under selling their haul. They rebuilt the starting lineup the previous two drafts and the depth this year. Let's see how minimal that is. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there.
