Carr retiring I see the Saints Tanking for sure. I thought this was always there plan. Just makes it official now.

Their Quarterbacks will not win. So they will be in a Quarterback search. Thats two wins for the Falcons against them. It looks like the Falcons are having an 11-5 season.

That's a lot to gleen from a move that hasn't changed anything from what it was a month ago. Or did the announcement change Saints players attitudes? And suddenly make Atlanta a juggernaut? All before the schedule release and training camp?! I prefer to wait and see how the games turn out.

Saints have a mediocre back up, a rookie QB who is injury prone who now HAS to be their starter, and one of the leagues worst defenses.

They will have a top 5, if not top 3 pick in next years draft.

As for the Falcons, I see 7 games on their schedule they SHOULD win, the rest are 50/50 at best, but more likely they lose the majority of those. Sitting around .500 seems about right for them in my mind. Still, a lot of factors can and will weigh in between now and when those games get played. I see Atlanta's floor at 5 wins, and their ceiling....a hesistant 14 wins, and that is if everything in the world goes in their favor for the entire season.

Im calling a spade a spade.

The Falcons have Michael Phenix Bijan Robinson Kyle Pitts Drake London and They also have Terrell a top young Cornerback. Jeremy Bates a top safety and they finally solved their edge with the trade we did with them allowing them to get their guy. Their defense will be vastly improved the only thing that was wrong with their team was edge.

Now injuries always occur but this team looks loaded.

Thats why I said 11 wins at least.

Dont act like this team is in our division.

This isn’t were you’re playing the Cardinals and 49ers.

They play the Panthers and Saints twice. The Saints are rebuilding. Kamara is probably getting traded.

This team will battle with the bucs for the division. They might beat the Bucs. Evans is older and Godwin isnt coming back at the begining of the season.

This is gonna be a hot team. That pick is probably 18-21 still a hot pick that can be packaged.

This reminds me when Peyton hurt his neck and they tanked for Andrew Luck.

New Orleans will be all in on Arch Manning. Grandfather played there. From New Orleans. Went to High school there. That fits the narrative.

I love Arch Manning, that said I have said previously and still think he will not come out in 2026 simply because he can make millions by simply staying one more season. He's getting paid millions now in college and both of the other Mannings didn't leave after one complete season. They understand how much more he will make in the NFL if he has a minimum of 2 complete dominant seasons behind him, so I think they will advise him to stay in school in 2026.

That said this looks like a strong QB draft in 2026. But I think this coming college season will allow the cream to separate in the coming draft. I think there are 5 QBs worth the Ram's attention and I think this coming collegiate year will give them the clarity they want. With two first round picks and a 3rd if you count 2027 they can move anywhere in the draft to get whoever they really covet.

The five I think they will be looking long and hard at are Nussmeier, Klubnik, Allar, Iamaleava and Sellers not in that particular order. They all need a strong season to cement their claim to a top 10 spot next year. They all need to show improvement in development and they all bring something different to the table. Klubnik and Sellers are definitely dual threat QBs with the other 3 being mobile enough to threaten in the red zone or on third and medium if not accounted for.

They all show different abilities in terms of pre-snap and post snap reading capabilities. They all need to show improvement there with some less than others. They all have NFL caliber arms but some need polish on their timing and accuracy. Allar appears to be the least mobile of the five but he's not a statue by any means. But he's the most pure pocket passer of the group. If McVay wants to add mobility to his QB position then Klubnik, Sellers and to a lesser extent Iamaleava would be the most likely.

Regardless the QB cupboard shouldn't be bare if Arch opts out in 2026. With two first rounders in hand they can control their ability to move to get who they want. The QB1 of the future is all that seems to be lacking from their roster right now.

Great point Dare I think the Rams will take the Quarterback with the most upside. After Josh Allen they might and I think take the rawest guy.

That could be Allar.

I think they want Illamava and that’s the guy or Mussinger.

So im not really tripping. Well get a guy to run the offense.

You might be right about Manning. But I think he’s coming out. All sides point to him coming out.

On Manning staying in college for 2026 "making all that money" vs coming out. I'm sure he's been briefed that a serious injury in 2026, would cost him way more than he'll make in college.

Having said that, I will be 8-) :lol2: @ all the amateur experts when the Rams pass on a QB in next years draft!

The Rams have plenty of options going forward.

Remember Arch’s dad, Cooper, had his football career end between high school and college due to spinal stenosis, so he only needs to talk to Dad about how your ability to make NFL money can disappear in a flash.

Salary of top 5 NFL pick vs. NIL money for 2026 is what?
