Rob Havenstein is an above-average RT who is signed through this year at a fair (if not slightly below) market price and is expected to be fully healthy by training camp.

The Rams have no other RT on the roster with more than 5 NFL starts.

Exactly. After this year, and Heaven forbid if he gets hurt this year, the options currently are underwhelming at best, scary at worst. We will see how things shake out through training camp.

I'm fine with his pay and hope he plays this year.

I'll confess to being down on Big Rob a couple of year back....

Me too as I want everyone on the OL to be elite.

In the salary cap era of reality, no team can afford to have five elite guys up front.

You get what you pay for ... well in Hav's case ... we are getting more than we pay for.
