Havs cap hit for 2025 is $14.7 mil. If cut, dead cap would be $12.2 mil, a cap savings of just $2.5 mil.

Only reason he wouldn't be on the team would be medical/injury related...

The Rams have no other RT on the roster with more than 5 NFL starts.

Why is this even a conversation?

It's not.

Exactly. After this year, and Heaven forbid if he gets hurt this year, the options currently are underwhelming at best, scary at worst. We will see how things shake out through training camp.

I'll confess to being down on Big Rob a couple of year back, but I thought he excelled this year.
I'm fine with his pay and hope he plays this year.

So you ask yourself given his cap status, is he worth $2.5M to be on the roster?

Duh, yeah

Me too as I want everyone on the OL to be elite.

In the salary cap era of reality, no team can afford to have five elite guys up front.

You get what you pay for ... well in Hav's case ... we are getting more than we pay for.
