Pro Bowl

Back in February, Marshal Faulk was hired to be the running backs coach for the CU Buffs. The Buffs ran the ball 39.36% of the time and averaged 65.7 yards a game. So any thoughts on how Faulk will do as a coach and what he will bring as a coach?

P.S. I searched the past threads and did not see this topic so if I missed it please delete or merge.

I think Marshall Faulk is the best running back to play the game. He did it all. But his most impressive trait was his dedication to learning and knowing every aspect of the offense, what every player was to do every play, and adjustments both pre- and post-snap.

He was prepared and prompted his teammates to be so as well. Coaching is teaching. He definitely knows the subject matter. He knows what it takes to maximize your God-given talents.

This brief video shows me he knows how to teach--how to command a room and convey a point very succinctly. I don't have any doubt that he won't have the ability to teach what he knows. My guess, he will be a good coach. Let him spend some time at CU and then come coach with the Rams.
