He's 5 months older than Akhello but i'm in. Coaches and players had nothing but love for him when he was a Ram...

He was a great Ram, part of the Super Bowl team, can still play at a very high level and seems to want to return. That's a big yes for me if they can do it without breaking the bank.

Come on man, lol. That salary from 30-34 yo? Wow. Better have a major out clause. Do you remember the playoff run? Any highlights from his Miami days? He was possibly the best CB we ever had and he played great for the Rams but how many players could you sign next yr for 70 mil?

Sounds like Miami might release him if they can't get a deal. Is it true his new team has to pay him 21 mil? I'd pass, let them cut him post June 1 and then sign him to a more affordable deal. But it ain't up to me. Let's see what the Rams do.....they didn't draft a CB so far.

If Asante Samuel Jr. is still available I'd rather they sign him.
He's only 25 and plays well in zone coverage.

I understood Ramsey’s latest contract with Miami to be about 72 mil. I would assume the Rams would not want to pick that up nor would Ramsey be willing to tear it up. I also see Miami would take a 25 mil cap hit if they trade him before June 1st but after June 1st would save 10 mil and only take a 6.7 mil cap hit for trading or cutting him. I could be wrong but how do they work this out? The more flexible Miami becomes the more teams like KC could jump into discussions but no sense in thinking anything will happen before June.

Jalen Ramsey signed a three year extension worth $72.1 million with the Dolphins on September 7, 2024. $29.235 million is guaranteed. The contract has annual per game and workout bonuses. There is no change to Ramsey's 2024 salary cap number and his 2025 cap number decreased by $9.58 million. There are three void years for salary cap purposes.

Ramsey's base salary in 2025 is $1.255 mil. with a 4 mil roster bonus and a per game bonus. All told his cap number is 16.6 with Miami, under 10 with another team. But his base salary jumps to 10, 10 and 21 mil the next 3 years. Not gonna see that kind of money from L.A..

Hell no. You have more details on how it’s structured in Miami or elsewhere but he’s due just over 25 mil this year in Miami. They don’t want to pay it and neither will anyone else (I hope) but if our future QB draft picks in ANY form go to signing Ramsey..... it better be a balance that makes sense. Sensible has not always gone hand in hand with F Them Picks. lol
