We're all assuming Rams are gonna go after a top QB in next year's draft and it makes a ton of sense but with these Rams, i'm not assuming anything...

My only assumption with the Rams and drafting a QB is that it IS entirely based on how Stafford is feeling and performing.

The second there is a noticeable drop, the wheels start turning.

Do I want Arch Manning before he's even run his own college offense? HELL YES I DO. But it's entirely premature, and Arch has commited to running his own team for at least two years. So I wouldn't even bank on him being in next years draft anyway.

But that Rams, Sean McVays Rams, have a way of making crazy shit happen.

The thing is, we really don't ever know.....normally. For obvious reasons. They don't hint at anything. And though I'm not daring enough to predict Stafford will be done after this year or next, the talent should be waaaay better than this draft. At least at the top. And Stafford will be 39 after next season. I think it a safe bet to lean towards QB as the top target in next years draft. Certainly we can never absolutely know. 75% convinced? Yeah.

I wonder if he does real well and the tea leaves point to the Rams looking for and having the means to get the best QB in the draft, his family doesn't advise him, "much better to go to the Rams than say the Browns or Cardinals. Screw that 2nd year running an NCAA offense".

This is what I'm hoping. The Mannings just straight up tell Arch, "You're career is better off going to the NFL now, and learning NFL football under Sean McVay NOW. Then it will be by playing 10 years of college football."
