Ummm, yes?

There's always a list of players whom the Rams like better than fans do. Reeder and Noteboom top that list, I think.

Full in camp depth/knows the system. Depending on the draft, could see him getting cut in camp.

After Nate was signed I went back and looked at some of his games from 2023. He played very well both against the run and pass. His role changed in 2024 as he only played 9 games due to injury.

Nate is like Forbes, a low risk / high reward type of signing. He's only 26 and if he stays healthy and returns to his 2023 form IMO the Rams have their starting MIKE LB to play behind Ford. Both Landman and Forbes were signed to fill one purpose in Shula's defense. They both play the run well. On passing downs Shula will rotate his pass rush DL and extra DBs in.

It's not like the Rams have a blind spot at LB they don't. But because it's not a fulltime position it's simply not a higher priority with them. When they are in their nickel they will be playing with only one ILB and that will be Speights.

So I think their ILB needs are no longer a day one or two priority with the Rams this draft. Like Ford the Rams might have their long term player at the position with Nate. Nate understands his role on early down passes as well. He was not a liability on early down passes.

Yeah I think the Rams don't need a day one or two player at NT or MIKE LB. Day 3 depth is all they need at this point. If the Rams have hit on Forbes, Ford and Landman that would be huge. At this point they look like hits more than question marks.

QB, TE, CB, RB and probably RT remain their only real priorities. RT remains to be seen as we don't know what they think of McClendon and Leveston. One of those two will be taking over at RG next year. It will be interesting if we see KT at RT in OTAs.

People talk about trading back but I'm not so sure. They can get good players at those 4 positions with the first 4 picks they already have.
