Agree with you and Elvis in this. If the Rams love a guy (prob a TE). Then go get him. Unless Jeanty could be that guy. But I see one of the top 2 TEs as serious trade up targets.

I think Jeanty is a lock to the Raiders

I like this guy for the Rams or Jack Bech, big WR targets for later in the draft.

The Los Angeles Rams are taking a look at receivers in the 2025 NFL Draft.

L.A. reportedly will meet with Arkansas receiver Isaac TeSlaa either this week or next week, according to FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. TeSlaa, which is pronounced "teh-SLAW," will also reportedly meet with the Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.

The 6-foot-4, 217-pounder TeSlaa caught 28 receptions for 545 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games for the Razorbacks in 2024. He had a great combine after running a 4.43 40-yard dash and posting a 39.5-inch vertical jump.

TeSlaa figures to be a Day 3 pick — likely in fourth or fifth round — who would be a big slot pass-catcher in any offense. With Davante Adams and Puka Nacua as starters, TeSlaa would slide in as, at best, the fifth option behind Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington unless he proved himself in camp.

I mentioned him a while back. Loved his interview on MTC/Sirius XM. Then watched his highlights. He is impressive. High football IQ, really athletic.

LMAO

All the media roaring that the Rams are looking at Jalen Milroe as their QB of the future. Sure if Stafford is going to play 2 more years!

Milroe has talent that is a given but he's RAW and projects as a year 3 starter as he has a lot of issues that need to be cleaned up. Also he's a classic RPO QB with limited experience in reading secondaries at the college level, never mind complex NFL defenses.

Milroe is your classic late 2nd day to early 3rd day draft QB. The question that is raised is why are the Rams raising the smoke screen? Obviously, IMO they want to influence teams to draft particular QBs earlier than most might normally. Are they looking for a particular QB to drop to 26? Or perhaps a player at TE, or CB to drop to 26 who might be more of a mid-first round pick? I think it's all of that. I think they have a small number of choices for their 26 pick that if they drop, they take their pick from or they trade back.

I think that pick is likely to be QB, TE or CB as they project the best positional value for a first round pick. A TE who is a legitimate receiving threat could be huge for this offense. They need two more CBs to complete their secondary to balance Shula's rotation, assuming he's going to be here beyond this year. QB is obvious as they need one who projects as a year 2 starter so they can control their cap costs. I don't think they want to pay Stafford $50M next year, which, IMO it would cost.

This is going to be an interesting 2 weeks wait. I'm just surprised at the huge smoke screen at the QB position they are making.

Now that you put it that way, it really makes perfect sense. I think Stafford may be thoroughly enjoying himself. 12 years in Detroit, 3 playoff games, 0-3. 4 years in LA, 7 playoff games, 5-2 with a Lombardi. What's the rush to retire? Use the first round pick on somebody who is going to help this year. CB, TE or WR.

2 years ago this time Rams had less than 50 players on their roster and 11 draft picks. They drafted well but also had a ton of opportunity for rookies to start, play, make meaningful contributions.

Flash forward to today, less opportunity, less draft picks. But still, plenty of each.

There are always needs but no glaring needs for the Rams. They could field the team they have now and we'd expect them to be a playoff team.

Obviously CB and OL depth come to mind but (and i'm not saying anything new), Rams can go pretty much any way they want, let the draft come to them...
