I think they still add to the interior. But glad they signed him.

They'll continue to tweak and something tells me they have another "interesting" signing or two on the horizon.

Happy for Larrell! I've always thought Keir Thomas should get a better chance too. Aren't they very similar?

I think Thomas is a little more OLB than DE but yes, they are used similarly. Murch is 25 lbs heavier so can play at 3-tech/inside on the DL.

I like Murchison, he's shown improvement and a good work ethic. Since he was often played in a 5T he has dropped a lot of weight (12 lbs) which should improve his quickness. He's the kind of depth player that often provides good rotational depth.

That said he must show better consistency and carve out a regular role on a very good defense. He watch Hoecht the past two years do exactly that. He's built much like Michael but hasn't shown the kind of speed and athleticism Hoecht had. That said if he can provide good service in a rotational role he could earn more than a PS slot for the remainder of his career.

Good work ethic? So you watch him in practice? Sounds like a draft evaluation.....

Pros: "has tenacious effort and is relentless"

Cons: "his aggressiveness can
put him out of position"

Definitely showed some flashes end of '22 and '23 but didn't play a snap last year due to injuries...
