I know Indrid has been talking about this elsewhere but:

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles ... /cap_total

Rams currently have about $6mil in cap space without Tutu or Shelton on the books yet, also don't have Stafford's new cap number. Kupp doesn't come off of the roster until June 21st, but that will add $25 mil to cap when he does.

I don't have all the numbers but things might be getting tight at the moment...

They are getting tight. But Spotrac is double counting Kupp. They have his total number on the cap and his dead money already counted. Check it out. We don't have a good reliable number right now.

Not be a PIA, but I think it's 15M added for Kupp June 1.

I'm guessing 10-12M right now. Why aren't the Stafford numbers available? Everyone, including total non-Rams fans, want to know that.

Ha, typing numbers from memory is rarely wise.

I'm also curious if Tutu is straight up $10 mil guaranteed as reported.

The fact we haven't heard any Stafford numbers probably means they're not great for him or his agent would be talking about it, i think. They ought to be available soon though...

No worries, I am a PIA and an acquired taste. :lol2:

The way I got it figured, is you ignore Spotrac's dead money number for Kupp. Can't have dead money until the contract's gone. And we're at 28M. Subtract 10M for Tutu (which is still a shock) and let's say 4.5M for Shelton. That's 13.5M left. Stafford, who the hell knows. So that is tight, unless you wait to sign the draft class after June 1 with the Kupp money.

But seems like we might be done for now. I suggested dead weight (Kendricks, D Williams, Parkinson) that could add $13M. They could fulfill my wish; there 2 good FA CBs sitting out there plus Alexander in a trade with GB. Don't think they will.

That kind of bs answer by Spotrac. If that's what you are standing by, get his contract of the total cap number. And add 7.5M in space. I'm probably not making sense.

Tutu contract on Spotrac. Flat $10M. They have us at a negative cap number, which is impossible. Kind of crap journalism.

But we are missing a lot: Stafford, Coleman, Murchison, Rivers, and the new ILB. But it's obvious, there's no money for anything big until we get the Kupp $15M credit on June 1.

Not to worry, OTC has us with $34 mil cap space.

Spotrac has 2 other teams besides us with negative cap which like you said is impossible.

But i guess they can only use the info they have and it's not all available yet...

Some more cap hits:

Ahkello: $1.255 mil
Landman: 1.1
Rivers: 1.1
Murch: 1.03

All of these are at or close to the minimum and each replaces a $960k cap hit in the top 51, so not much change to the cap at all with these signings...
