But we all know one of McVay's sayings is "you can't have too many weapons". I gotta believe they're going WR or TE at 26 (if they don't trade down). But WTF do I know?CB and ILB are needs (in that order) but so are TE and WR (in that order?).I know a lot of people are clamoring for a stud TE. And they cite last year's attempt to get Brock Bowers as evidence that McVay wants one, too. And maybe he does, I don't know. What I do know is that he hasn't focused his offense around tight ends (multiple) since he was OC in Washington. And he's managed to do just fine with focusing his passing game to WRs.Anybody who plays fantasy football knows the value of the TE position, and it's not great. There are 2 or 3 TEs every year who make a real difference, the rest are just guys. So I'm not in favor of spending a high pick on a tight end. Higbee and Parkinson (and hopefully Davis Allen) can do just fine. You want to develop a mid-round pick, ok. Just not that first rounder. For my money, anyway. That's just me. 2 by Elvis 10 hours 16 minutes ago Total posts: 40812 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: Do Rams have Blind Spot at LB? Does that mean he'll automatically succeed or that you should discount his success if he plays well? You say we need 5-6 LBs. Are you including OLBs, or just ILBs? We already have two very good starting OLBs (Young, Verse) and some viable backups (B.Jackson, D.Johnson). At ILB, we are obviously thin, with Speights as the only returning player of note. We can certainly obtain another starter and some depth in the secondary FA market and/or draft.I’m talking about finding 5-6 LBs not warm bodies or total cast offs. If we get 1-2 starters to go with Speights we’d be lucky. As for Young & Verse, please. Neither one can cover in pass defense. by AvengerRam 6 hours 26 minutes ago Total posts: 8883 Joined: Oct 03 2017 Lake Mary, Florida Hall of Fame Do Rams have Blind Spot at LB?
