IDK man. This dude can play multiple roles and that is what Shula loves. He can convert to rush end in the cheetah package. He can cover, blitz, fill inside I. The run game and track down anyone sideline to sideline. I doubt it happens but this dude looks beyond legit.

Understood, but I just dont think they value it that way. I still think the Rams could go WR ala Golden. Adams is a 1-2 year fix most likely.

I still think TE or trade back and get a TE, CB and RT.

Well Lance Zurlien agrees with me. Or I him. lol. This dude looks special. And more than an off ball, interior LB. But, not as valuable to the Rams as a top WR or TE. Someone is taking this kid in the 1st rd.

We “need” Corner (should re sign Spoon)TE, WR, RT, DT (re sign Gallimore), ILB (unless they really like the 2 PS guys and that is risky), and rotational edge depth.

They are likely looking at the cuts happening over the next week to see if there is anyone. I doubt they make a trade. So it’s lookin like draft with 7 picks and UDFAs.

Here is my two cents,

I see the RAMs going all in for this year SB run.

In what the roster looks like at this point,

Our most likely needs for the draft, unless we sign some more FA,

Is the best available player between these three,

that I would shoot for in the first round.

LT/RT/Swing (A future to replacement RHav and backup swing)

ILB, If there is a Warner from SF type LB, I would get him.

CB/ A shutdown CB

Players we don't need for our first pick.

TE, is a luxury pick, that wouldn't be starting in front of our three we have now.

WR, is a luxury pick, that wouldn't be starting in front of our four we have now

QB, is a luxury pick, that wouldn't be starting in front of our QB1 or QB2

This is all based on the next two years for a SB run!!! IMO

This is a great take. I see Snead trading down to get the most picks to gain depth rather than luxury picks. But, as always, best athleticism/fit will get selected. I see maybe a need at RB but nobody is going to get picked and start this year…

I am with you on this unless the skill position player can contribute right away. That is hard historically with MCV. Although Kupp did it. It’s safer/easier to project instant contribution on the D side. But, Snead won’t pass on a player with predicted generational/all pro talent - regardless of position.

I think he wants more picks. #26 is a bit of no man’s land unless someone THEY really covet, drops. Can see a trade back there.

I could see a trade for sure, but I can also see McVay wanting another weapon, so to me TE/WR are in play for standing pat or a slight move up.

We lost Gallimore so they will see if they get any other bargain free agents at DT, CB and ILB.

I feel one of the reasons why the Rams were possibly looking for a TE last season,
(in which I'm so glad that didn't happen, because Verse felled to us)
because they knew they only had three TEs going into the season,
and one of those TEs in Long was coming off a knee injury,
while Higbee also with a knee injury,
that he wouldn't be able to play until later during the season.

Going into this season,
are TEs are healthy no rookie is going to start over Higbee or Parkinson.
The RAMs mostly use the 11PG,
and both Higbee and Parkinson can do both in blocking and going down the seam.

As I stated, the RAMs are looking to make the SB for these next two years,
especially in 2026, where the SB will be played in Sofi for that season.
And if we don't win the SB for this coming season,
I can see the Rams resigning both Higbee and RT/R-Hav to a two-year contract,
with one year guarantee for the 2026 season to make another SB run.

So, I don't see them wasting a pick in the 1st rd for a TE!
The same goes for a WR, with Puka, TAE, Tutu, & Whit,
or a QB with QB1/Staff and QB2/JimmyGQ secured.

The reason why I listed those three, T, ILB, CB for the 1st rd pick,

For Tackle, we need a swing for back up,
I don't trust McClendon, and I don't know if Leveston could handle it,
cause he was drafted to be a G, even though he played T in college.
Then we have Arcuri that was on the PS, so, that is not saying much about him.

ILB, we only have Speight from the 53-man roster at the end of the season.
From the PS, we had Neal & Fields
I still think we need another stud ILB at that position to go along with Speight.

CB, this one would be my last choice,
If not a shutdown CB, then move on,
Cause we are pretty well covered there with CB,
With Durant, Williams, Forbes, Kendricks coming off a knee injury,
Wallace & Woods both from the PS up and down on the active.
and possibly a FA signing.

Once again, this if we don't sign anymore FA prior to the draft!

Yes, I agree, I can see us trading down to accumulate more picks!
