Releasing Kupp will open up another $7.5M in cap space, which is not a ton of space versus just keeping him. I think the problem with keeping him is that he would be a 5th WR and would have to accept that role and McVay would have to accept that as his role and not be tempted to play him over Atwell or Whittington.

Ya that is the tough part as Kupp will be lobbying for reps. Although, if the injuries are behind him and he can somehow improve his current limitations with separation, he would be a great rotational piece to spell Nacua and occasionally DA. But I don’t think Kupp’s ego can handle that. If he goes, I hope the Chargers get him so he stays in LA. We will know today by 1pm PST.

Yep probably release unless someone really wants him. At this point just hoping it isnt Seattle or NIners. Hawks seems like a major possibility.

On Kupp I have to say, the relationship with McVay will mend over time. The pain is being felt by Kupp, the fans and McVay for that matter but it will never be the same for anyone. Should the Rams have had more faith in Kupp having another great year in the tank or at least making a meaningful contribution, delaying Whittington's development but bringing his blocking and leadership skills to the field? Should Kupp be more appreciative of the down years where the Rams made do during his rehabs and still paid him when Puka and Robinson had to pick up the slack?

I know both sides see the business aspect of it and time wounds all heels but this relationship, for the amazing things they accomplished together will simply never be the same regardless of how it's portrayed publicly. All the best Cooper Kupp. YOU made it happen!

Hopefully he could sign with the Chargers,

this way he wouldn't have to move out of his home,

Just switch locker rooms,

at the same time, not be picked up by one of our Foes!!!

The Seahawks have signed Valdes-Scantling, so maybe, hopefully, the chances of them signing Kupp have gone down? A little?

Much prefer to see him go to the Chargers.

Supposedly, the Raiders are hot on him per Vinny.

If Tom Brady is half as effective at recruiting Kupp as he was with Stafford, Kupp will be playing somewhere other than Vegas...
