Chiefs give us your draft picks 3rd round pick for Cooper Kupp.

Debo Samuel might go to the Chiefs to.

The Rams will be lucky to get a 3rd for him. If they get that they pay some of his contract to get it done. A 4th might do it.

BTW, some of this crap printed by the faux Rams “press” Wire, Turf Show, Ramblin, which is done by nobody other than Ram fans posing as “press” about potential interest in Diggs, Adams, et al, is comical. If you’re going to take a Diva like Diggs, who is similar age as Kupp and has injury issues than why bother moving Kupp? Quit trying to plug in declining 30+ y/os as a replacement for a fading stud 30+ y/o in Kupp?! If you’re going to do that than keep Kupp for Christ Sake.

those articles are rather obvious... Good luck to the mods to try to keep them in a single thread.

Is there a betting line in Vegas on Kupp staying a Ram in 2025? Might be wishful thinking, but I think he plays on the Rams in 2025.

Something has got to give. Right now here are our WRs under contract.

Puka
Kupp
Whittington
X. Smith
Q. Cephus
Stoops

If they're trading Kupp, they have to have a plan to bolster this corp considerably, don't you think? About the only thing that makes sense is a WR at #26 or a free agent signing. Or Kupp taking a pay cut and staying on. And even then, I'd think there needs to be a WR pick early AND/OR a free agent signing. Should be interesting.

Snead will find someone in the 5th or 6th round that will be a ROY candidate.

I'm more concerned about getting an elite TE

The salary. Injury history. Decline. 32 years old this summer. I honestly don't see anyone trading for Kupp. Not even for a late day 3 pick swap. I think the roster would be better just keeping him for another season. But if they're determined to save cap space they'll probably cut him at some point.

I'm sure their immediate priority is to extend Kyren Williams. He's eligible for an extension right now. And they want to make sure they can extend Puka, Turner and Young when they're all eligible next year.

Also, the market for vet WRs is getting more flooded by the minute. A restructure would be such a bonus for the Rams. And frankly for Kupp. No one is taking on his salary in a trade. If the Rams have to pay a significant portion of his contract to trade him, just rework the deal and keep him. Even releasing him outright doesn’t save much.
