I can see a QB starved team look at Jimmy G as their best opportunity this year....especially if they could sign him for three years at number not too far north the $10mil he made from us. I'm not a huge fan of his, but he does have a very good won-loss record for his career.

To add, there’s possibly the factor of “if Shanny could do it….so can I”. Ego is real.

Maybe some one thinks they can make him the next Sam Darnold.

In case Rams are considering tagging AJ, would be around $23 mil...

Actually smart if they can’t get a deal done asap. Or, tag then do a deal. He is priority #1 as a FA.

I can see the Jets going after Jimmy G.

Good news. AJ is an above average left tackle. Maybe not among the best, but still good enough to protect the blindside. Quality left tackles are hard to come by. Teams usually don't let them walk. Now they will go into camp with the same starting five. Great for the chemistry and continuity.

Today was a good day. Now they just need a few tweaks to the roster. Finding a WR2 to pair with Puka. Whittington can be the WR3. A nice possession type receiver.

They do need to improve the back end of the defense. Do better defending the run too. Hopefully Speights can improve in that area. He's thumper type ILB.

I believe they need the following upgrades:

WR: 2-5 with J Whitt either 2 or 3. Could see DRob coming back on a modest deal. Draft and FA

DT: Brown probably gone. Could use a real power player inside. FA and/or Draft

Corner: near at least 1, probably 2. A high draft pick makes sense if there is a guy who fits. Draft.

ILB: Someone to pair with Speights. Draft poss FA

TE: not a need but a difference maker in the receiving game would be a really smart add. Long is gone. Allen and Park are JAGS. A DYNAMIC TE would help Higs take less wear and tear and open up a lot more of the field in the pass game. Draft

OL depth: Draft

I guess you could add QB2: FA (JG) or Draft to upgrade #3 and push for the #2.
