The offense is going to be a lot different. And frankly, save for a few games, it wasn’t all that good last year. MCV wants to dominate on offense. And he wants to be extremely physical doing it. That’s what he is looking to build. And players who get injured too often don’t fit. Stafford is the anomaly bc he is just that good. But, MCV probably believe if he builds the rest of the offense the way he wants to, he might not need a top tier QB. I don’t know if that’s what he’s thinking. I think J Jax gets traded for a bag of chips, Kupp for less than any of us think he’s worth, A Jax walks, and Stafford? Man I’m 50/50 on him being back at this point. You have no choice and that's where the love affair may end in a hurry. The Rams don't like to be put in that position and honestly, people are likely overlooking what McVay could do with Rodgers in their first year. I don't think Corum is the future regardless of being a 3rd round pick. The Rams don't like to be put in that position and honestly, people are likely overlooking what McVay could do with Rodgers in their first year. What McVay could do with FA $ and a Rookie QB capable of beating out Garoppolo or what Garapollo could do as a game manager with a 20 mil contract and a slew of new talent to throw and handoff to. I don't think Corum is the future regardless of being a 3rd round pick. McVay and Snead are weighing all of this and if Stafford holds firm on 50+ mil/per year and won't take 35-40 mil I think they may even let me sit out the year. He IS under contract. by Elvis 1 week 5 days ago Total posts: 40782 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Permission given to Jonah Jackson to seek trade POST #19 Maybe this ups JJ's trade value: RFU Season Ticket Holder by actionjack 1 week 5 days ago Total posts: 4914 Joined: May 19 2016 Sactown Superstar Permission given to Jonah Jackson to seek trade POST #20 TOPIC AUTHOR RainalldayRam liked this post Elvis wrote:Maybe this ups JJ's trade value:will get a bag of chips and 6th round pick swap. Jackson maybe it can free up money to re-sign A. Jackson. He'll be hard to replace. I know he's not the typical cornerstone left tackle teams covet, but he's above average. They could definitely do worse. If even for the continuity to bring back all 5 guys. Limmer seems to be the guy going forward at center. Helluva lot cheaper than Jackson. by ramsww 1 week 5 days ago Total posts: 701 Joined: Aug 11 2022 LA Coliseum Veteran Permission given to Jonah Jackson to seek trade POST #18 snackdaddy wrote:If they can move J. No knock against him but for whatever reason he underperformed for the $$ paid and I think the Lions were the least shocked at the 2024 results. I see the Rams eating a lot of dead money between this trio and that's fine. It ain't my money. IMO Stafford is quietly saying you've gotta pay me. You have no choice and that's where the love affair may end in a hurry.
