Speculations and rumors will run rampant and increase dramatically between now and then. Trades can’t happen until March 12. So we have another 3 weeks of this nonsense. Sure there will be some not so clandestine “talks” that happen and insiders who get tidbits of whatever is purposely leaked. It could be crazy. Both Stafford and Kupp could get traded. Maybe the Rams fine a way to get Joe Burrow. More likely is that Stafford gets a new 2-3 year deal, Kupp gets traded for a bag of chips and having to eat some contract cash, and the Rams sign or trade for someone who no one expected was on their radar.

In other words. It’s all bullshit till it ain’t.

LMFAO!!!

And who knows? Maybe they have already got back from Cabo and have a deal ready to go!!

Interesting conclusion.

I have heard a retired person once say that judging someone as being greedy is a form of greed in itself. Is he right or wrong?

Trades can and will go down beforehand, they just won't be official until the new league year...

I don’t know that, and neither do you. We can assume that, given his age, he’s thought about it, but that’s just an assumption.

There’s no indication he’s talked about it “constantly.” You just made up that part.

Stafford’s talk of retirement or silence on his intensions isn’t even an issue. I don’t think it’s a major factor, other than a negotiating tool since he’s said he wants to play in 2025. Reports are few and total speculation but they haven’t been indicating talks are making progress. If they trade him it will be about the $$ just as I originally said. Rams want a team friendly deal. Stafford wants to get paid. Gee, did I say the is ONLY MY F$&king OPINION? Do I need to sign something…

I see you’re still struggling to communicate on a forum without resorting to name calling. Pity.

You made an assertion of fact. I asked you to back it up, and you could not.

You may not like being called out. Too bad. There’s enough misinformation out there already…we don’t need to add to it by framing assumptions as facts.

My friend in MN called me tonight to ask if I had heard the rumor about both Stafford and Kupp being traded to the Vikings for their #26 and their #140 (top of the 5th). I told him I hadn't heard anything except the possibility of Stafford only to the Vikings but that trading him with his favorite WR for a 5th round pick would make sense.

This would give the Rams #'s 24,25, 90,100 (3rd), 126 (4th rd), 140 (5th rd) and 3 picks in the 6th rd.

I told him that I would love it. But it makes too much sense and the NFL is rarely sensible. He said the FO is under big pressure to win now and to play JJ McCarthy this year is saying they are willing to put it off one more year. The Vikings might be trying to emulate the Ram's 2021 season. He said it would give the Vikings the best QB in the division and the Lions lost Jared's OC to the Bears.

I didn't tell him that giving Snead those picks will fill every hole left in the Ram's roster this draft and if It came down to it the Rams know exactly how to play Matt and have the defense to do it. Well we will see in 3 weeks. :roll2:
