The thing with Netflix saying they had 60 million, that's not the same as Nielsen numbers so you can't really compare it to, say, Amazon's NFL numbers.

Streaming is the future. It's also the present, i mean how many of us are already watching Sunday Ticket and pretty much all of our NFL games on YouTube TV?

At bare minimum the CEO of Netflix got a text or an email from one of Goodell's people after Friday night's fight. Worst case scenario is he was told to be in New York today for a meeting at 345 Park Avenue for an in person meeting to ensure Christmas NFL goes off without a hitch.

Well I am watching multiple streams, YTTV when the Rams are local and I use HULU live for locals and more.

I have to say, one thing I dont like about YTTV (and I only realized this season) is that they remove the games played the previous Sunday by Wednesday. That is super quick and makes catching replays of good games tough.

You probably can watch all the games back. I can get games but they want more $$$ standard Sunday Ticket. Lame

Me too... just setup all NFL games to record. YTTV has unlimited DVR space. I believe they keep the recordings for up to 9 months.

Actually was able to watch the Rams game back yesterday, so maybe the Seattle week was an aberration. odd

Netflix wants a Sunday afternoon NFL package

...The streamer’s chief content officer, Bela Bajaria, told Matt Belloni of Puck (via John Ourand of Puck) that the company is interested in bidding on the NFL’s Sunday afternoon games.

The Sunday afternoon games belong currently to CBS and Fox. Fox acquired the NFC package from CBS in 1994, and CBS snatched the AFC package from NBC in 1998.

The current broadcast deals run through 2033. The league has the right to pull the plug on the deals four years early, and it likely will...
