None of it matters if you trade Stafford, none of it. See Cleveland Browns....

WOW! In 2023 we drafted the #2 rookie defender (Turner) and this year we draft the # 1 AND 3 rook defenders!!! Pretty damn good! Now, let's get better at the f/a we sign, right?

Sure he is (2022). And he deserves to be. 14 years, 501 rec, 8685 yards, 17.3 avg, 67 TDs

So does Harold Jackson 16 yrs, 579 rec, 10372 yards, 17.9 avg, 76 TD.

Of course Branch was a 3 time SB winner with 34 rec, 491 yds, 14.4 avg, 3 TDs.

The last game Branch played in was 1985 ... it took 37 years to be inducted, and 3 years after he died.

Hopefully it won't take that long for Holt to be inducted.

I disagree. Stafford didn't get them to the SB this year with a healthy defense and Kupp.

The Rams deserve better than Stafford to keep their window open and take advantage of this OL and defense. Matt's limitations are holding them back.

Why do people think I kept saying playoff seeding matters? Because it was the way they could avoid the Eagles if at all. There was no doubt in my mind this team could beat the Lions, and that the only team that the Rams didn't match up with were the Eagles.

The Rams saw that as well. They got beat by a team with a lesser QB but strong run game and outstanding defense. Well guess what? The Rams have the OL, run game, and defense as long as they have good play at QB, they don't need a superstar at QB. Do you think Purdy is better than Stafford? The Niners got to their SB because of balance on offense and defense, not because their QB was some sort of phenom. Purdy is good but not elite. The Niners lost because of bad coaching decisions.

Snead and Kroenke know that the Rams need to learn from other teams both when they get things right and wrong. The weakness on the Rams is at QB and you want to keep him? He limits what they can do, especially in the Red Zone. Why do you think they are so damn weak in the Red Zone? Because the defense needs to only play Williams and pass defense with no fear of the QB.

Look at how poorly Stafford played after the Bills game. He was worn out. He needed a second bye to play in the playoffs and it cost the Rams crucial seeding. IMO Stafford's future was sealed when he couldn't play week 18. That is when it literally confirmed to me that Matt's time in LA had run it's course.

Let me pose this question. Who is more important to the Rams success, Stafford or McVay? You need to be mindful of Sean's contract expires after 2026. Snead and Kroenke are well aware of it. Keeping Sean engaged is the only way to get him to extend. That means allowing him to expand his offense which he can't do with with Stafford. IMO it's a no brainer they need to cater to whatever it takes to give the Rams a shot at extending McVay beyond 2026.

Personally, I think Sean is 60/40 gone after 2026. Which is why Stafford stay in LA isn't important. They need to either encourage Sean to stay with a new toy or lay the foundation for the next Ram HC (which I hope is Shula).

Yep I cant, if you think the Rams can get to the playoffs or more with Jimma then have a bridge I can sell you.

The good news is Stafford has been all over the Rams marketing so I feel comfortable he will be back, hopefully for 2 years.

Keep Stafford but bring in a new guy out of school, let him learn from a seasoned QB.

He might be cra-cra, I have no way of knowing.

But in my opinion, he's just trying to stir stuff up, just to get us all going.

Ignore him.
