What fucks me up is

1. How does Pete Carroll not give the ball to Marshawn Lynch on the 1 inch line. When he was destroying the Patriots in the Super Bowl on that drive???? That shit makes no sense to me. That’s who you want with the ball then not Wilson. Common sense give the ball to Lynch

Interception Malcolm Butler that was a head scratcher.

Shanahan dropping back to throw with the Falcons when all you needed to do was run with Freeman to set up the game winning field goal to make it a two score game with Brady not allowing him to tie it with a two point conversion. Then he ties it with a two point conversion. Ryan drops back gets sacked and they have to punt. What a joke. That doesn’t make sense to me. Cause that wasn’t using common sense.

Well I'll be honest I really, REALLY disliked the direction the league was going on this when I felt it was at its worst, in the 2000s. This was a Tagliabue initiative, hands down. If it had continued (and the Rams hadn't been allowed to leave St. Louis), I probably wouldn't be following it nearly as closely as I do today.

Back then, all I could say was .. man, I am so thankful the Rams snuck in a Super Bowl before the NFL started wholesale, what I called, "managing outcomes." (read: not outright rigging games, but ensuring the most marketable teams were the ones succeeding.).

You have to remember: at the time we were coming off of two dinky markets in a Super Bowl, AND Ray Lewis possibly being a double murderer - I am 100% sure the TV people went to Tags and said: this ain't gonna fly buddy. We need the Cowboys, the 49ers, the Giants, the Packers, the Steelers; this relocated Rams and Titans crap + Ray Lewis Super Bowl MVP ain't drawing viewers.

As I've said before, I think the league has scaled back a lot of it, probably out a fear that they'd get a whistle blown on them by a disgruntled former office insider or referee. I also suspect this scaling back was at Goodell's direction ..

Refs are human. They make mistakes. Doesn't help that some big ones have favored the Chiefs. At some point I have to wonder if they end up trying the prove they don't favor them and end up over correcting.

Game definitely rigged.

What a disgrace this League is now. Fixed game.

It’s a post about rigging.

Two bonehead plays not running the ball with Marshawn lynch and throwing.

And not running with Devonte Freeman when a field goal makes it a two score game. When Brady can’t tie. And you get a sack.
