Just getting tired of almost anyone associated with this staff being poached

However, I think it's exactly this behavior demonstrated by McVay (but also Snead and Kroenke) that attracts talent like Raheem to stop by and make a difference. Granted, this type of 'team' first mentality might drive away coach/gms that have personalities so large that tends to consume the entire organization. I don't see that with any of the coaches (including McVay) in the Rams organization.

Here's hoping we attract some stellar talent that launches us into the next level for the upcoming season.

I'm not sure that is a better career move for Carter. He does get reunited with Evero but not a promotion. Maybe money was better.

We might need to fill a few positions if this continues. McVay will bring in the "Next" and hopefully we keep rolling.

It's a minor promotion from Assistant Coach to a position group Coach. Dropping Assistant will look better on a resume, but I'm not sure it's a more important or glamourous job.

Really do wish the rest of the league would poach from another damn team once and a while though!!

McVay might want to start offering staff position contracts at a minimum 2 years or something. I get that he likes helping others grow and succeed, but some continuity in the Rams headquarters would absolutely be a boon across the board, and he can't enjoy scouring the planet for a minimum of 5 replacements every damn year!! Even if he is getting assistance from his other coaches/assistants.

I see it as him becoming more well rounded, similar to what Shula did. If AC Carter wants to be a DC at some point, this is a good avenue.
