Of course after you're eliminated they're all "other games". Still proud of the overall performance by our Rams. Both in season and the postseason. The arrow is pointing up. But on to the "other games".

Washington at Philly (Philly by 6)
The Eagles should win. They have a massive OL, two talented receivers and a dynamic running back, not to mention a stingy defense. IIRC, no rookie QB has led his team to a Conference Championship. So all the signs point to Philly vs ??? in SB59.

But as Lee Corse's saying, "not so fast my friend". The Eagles beat Washington on two late Saquon Barkley runs, the first after a failed 4th and 2 at the Eagles 29 with the Commanders down 2. :o In their second matchup a more seasoned Jayden Daniels won it late on a 9 yard TD pass. I don't think this is an easy Eagles win.

I always root against the Eagles and this week is even more important to see them lose. My best friend, a Pittsburgh fan who shared my disgust of the Eagles and their fans, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning. Just 59 years old, he had a heart attack last week, coded while they were putting in 2 stents, finally had the stents installed and seemed to be improving but had another heart attack Thursday and passed. It is with a heavy heart I root very hard for Washington.

Washington 26-24

Buffalo at Kansas City (Chiefs by 2.5)

Mahomes says the NFL isn't favoring the Chiefs with their officiating calls. I say "bullshit". Like the kid, impressed by his ability but that dive out of bounds last week soured me big time. Going into the season I hoped the Chiefs would fall short of a 3-peat and now it's even more urgent. Somebody benefitting from poor officiating and whining that it's not true.
Gotta go down! Josh Allen has passed Mahomes on my favorite non-Rams list! He deserves a Lombardi (especially if he loses out to Lamar in the MVP).

Bills 19-13.

Enjoy the games fellas and Red.

Eagles center can't go, not sure how much that will matter. I'll be rooting for WA, probably won't work out for me.

KC/Buff really don't think i care who wins. I know most are sick of KC and will be rooting for Buffalo and maybe i'll have a rooting interest once the game starts but at the moment, not so much.

My strongest and clearest rooting interest at this point is against the Eagles...

So sorry for your loss brother. I will be pulling a little extra hard for the Commandos now. And I’m sure we all will be contemplating how the Rams could have beaten the Coms.

Yeah PA, so sorry for losing your best friend at 59. Hang in there.

Going to be hard to watch the SB and root for both teams to lose.

Oh man, hadn't read your post all the way through, sorry for you loss PA. And sorry the Eagles won too.

Both home teams won and covered. SB will be a 1 seed vs. a 2 seed.

Chiefs favored by 1.5

Reasons not to hate the Chiefs:

2 of their SB wins were against the Niners. For that alone they are gods.
They're making the Patriots dynasty seem less impressive all the time, you know the Patriots who beat us in 2 different SBs.
We beat them in that wild MNF game which was a classic.

I'm not from MO so easy for me to say...

I can take those reasons. And with an Eagles SB loss, they can join other presumptive NFC favorites that got their ass kicked in the playoffs in "hangover-ville:" Vikings, Lions, Commanders, Packers.

Technically speaking, there are 31 teams that I hate. But they are not all at the same level of hate.

The Chiefs are otherwise pretty far down that list. But I don't like teams that wear red, and mostly I'm just sick and tired of them. My only reason left for not hating them is Andy Reid, who I honestly like.

But this Super Bowl will not be an easy one to pick a team to cheer for. It's not as bad as Patriots-Niners, not nearly. But not great, either.
