A couple of turnovers and giving up a 3 big plays. Those obviously were the difference between winning and losing-especially in play off games. However, the bigger-long term-takeaway is that this team is created as a physical team able to man-up on defense and run (and control) the ball generally as needed. Having those options is huge in not becoming a one-trick pokey. These factors also bode well in upcoming seasons, vs. “physicality/Smash-mouth” teams where they can certainly match, if not exceed in these types of games.

Yesterday was the type of game, in the type of conditions, vs the type of team, where previous versions of the Rams may have been run out of the stadium. Instead, despite all of their MAJOR mistakes, it was the Eagles hanging on and praying up until the last play.

Upgrades are necessary obviously, and will discussed in greater detail in the upcoming months, but the future of this team looks quite bright from where I’m sitting.
