Yes the Eagles have a good OL but it's built as a run first offense. They can be hit or miss in pass protection. Most of their OL are physically big guys. In pass protection it's all about the OL playing with leverage. That means getting low which when you are 6'7" or 6'8" like some of the Eagle OL are that isn't easy. That's why Verse is so good even against big OTs. His game is strength, quickness, playing with leverage with good hand usage. Fiske is not a small man and he plays with quickness, and strength.

The first game both Verse and Fiske were learning their NFL techniques. They have since proved their progress in that regard. This game the DL must be more cognizant of Barkley. I see the Eagles trying to incorporate Barkley even more into their passing game.

When I talked to my friend the Eagle fan he mentioned how the Eagle OL especially the last few weeks has been up and down in their performance. He said after watching the Ram DL he said that the Eagle OL must be more consistent or Hurts will be in trouble on passing downs. What he was saying is that if the Eagle OL continues it's inconsistent play, the Rams will have their opportunities if they are able to take advantage. In his opinion the Eagle OL is good but not as good overall as the Lion OL. His remarks have fallen in line with what I see on film of their past couple of games.

The biggest factor IMO will be the weather variable. If the rain or snow holds off until after the game and is a non-factor, I see this as a very close game. More than anything the Rams must not commit any stupid penalties like they did with the Vikings. Yeah I think this will be a close game with a mistake probably factoring into winning or losing for either team.

If the weather is decent the Rams should have an edge with their kicking game, both in punts and PK.

Yes there will be alot of screens with Saquon Barkley. They want to get Lane Johnson running in space. Barkley will be everything about this game.

Little secret coordinators go back to what works for them. 254 yds rushing is 254 yds rushing moore will go that and lean on that. Very good observation the Eagle tackles are big athletic but not that great in pass protection.

Chris Shula better do what Todd Bowles did in the super bowl a couple of seasons ago. Against the Chiefs in the super bowl. He got destroyed by Tyreke Hill in man and he went zone. Bucs dominated.

Let’s see Chris Shula switch it up. Im looking for Barkley spy Lake and Load the box. Maybe Verse starts as a middle linebacker. Give them a different look.

Brown is gonna get alot of one one looks Durant Williams have to be ready for it.

Because me personally the Rams wont let him Barkley beat them.

Barkley was held under 100 yards five times this season. The Eagles went 3-2 in those 5. That doesn't sound bad but they only lost 3 games all season and in two of them, he was held under 100. "You can't stop him. You can only hope to contain him" is the cliche here. In those games he was held under 100, Philly scored 21 (L vs Atl), 16 (L @ Tampa), 20 (W vs Cleve), 34 (W @ Dallas) and 27 (W vs Pitt).

7 of those 20 points vs Cleveland came on a blocked FG TD. 2 of those 16 points vs Tampa came on a failed 2 pt conversion return. Dallas had 5 turnovers giving Philly the ball at the Dallas 17 (TD), a fumble into the Philly end zone from the 3, another at the Dallas 21 (FG) and the Dallas 45 (FG).

To beat the Eagles the Rams have to contain Barkley, no turnovers, solid tackling and score TDs on offense. It would help to get a takeaway or two. Sounds like a lot because it is a lot. But when you're trying to beat a 15-3 team, you're gonna need a lot.

Huge test for a young team who have already made this fan proud. Build on that.

Reasons for optimism?
We've won 10 of the last 13 games.
We have 3 turnovers in the last 9 games.
We have beat four 10 win teams in that 10-3 streak.
We're playing with house money.

Nobody thinks we’re winning this game. I mean NOBODY.

The only question I hear is will the Eagles cover, and most experts say yes.

So I guess we need a miracle.

Everywhere I look I see temps in the 30’s with 30% chance of snow on Sunday.

Not sure where people are getting this frigid temps with a blizzard crap.

"Nobody thinks it will work, do they?"

"No.

You just described every great success story."

Eagles hubris:

Eagles Nation
@PHLEaglesNation
Jalen Hurts on how #Eagles offense will adjust if the Rams shut Saquon down: “I don’t think there’s been a game this year he’s been shut down.”

Reporter: “Well teams have tried.”

Hurts: “They tried.”
