I watched my boys from Happy Valley blow it last night so I'm watching tonight, rooting for Texas and eventually Notre Dame whomever they face. But it's Friday and the weekend game are right around the corner. I'll make my picks from a logical standpoint and from the heart.

Chargers at the Texans.
My heart says, "I'd love to see Harbaugh's season end. It would be great for my Rams brothers who have to deal with Charger fans." But from a logical standpoint, I don't think Houston is that good. So LAC in a close one.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore
One of my best friends is a lifelong Steeler fan. Though he rarely brings up 1979, he often brings up all their Lombardi's. So I hope they get clobbered and he starts talking baseball (he's a Mets fan). :lol2: Logic says, Baltimore is going to beat them bad.

Denver at Buffalo
My rooting interest here is with Allen and though I don't like Payton, that has nothing to do with it. Youngblood 22 has picked the Broncos in an upset but I don't see it. I see them making it a better game than most think but I see the Bills winning this one. Logically, a 10 point favorite should win easily.

Green Bay at Philly
Obviously my interest here is Philly getting upset. I won't have to listen to Eagle fans talk about how great they are and how they're destined for the Superbowl. Logic says, 'with a hobbled Jordan Love and no Christian Watson, coupled with a rested Eagle's team, Green Bay's season will end Sunday'. That won't upset me, I'm leaving for Florida on Monday and won't have to listen to local Eagle fans anyway!! But I will hold out hope anyway.

Washington at Tampa
Who I'm rooting for here depends on how the Philly/Green Bay game goes. I'd love a home game in the Divisional round. But if Green Bay wins, I don't really care. Hosting Washington or going to Tampa, in my mind means we make the CCG. If Philly wins, I'm rooting for Tampa as I'd rather play Detroit indoors than outside in Philly. I don't know what logic says here other than, Tampa has the experience and is favored. So my pick is Tampa.

Hope you're right.

Well the first one was interesting. Freaky happenings. Houston by 20. AFC #4 seed moves on.

Now it's Pittsburgh (@Baltimore). I would say, "it can't get much worse than SD" but have you seen the Steelers play lately?

Wow. Pittsburgh 2 first downs, 60 yards in the first half (punting with 2 min left). It don't look good at the moment.

I guess if i could ask Mike Tomlin one question about his punting strategy, it would be: Why wait until 4th down?

Is there anything less reassuring than watching Arthur Smith going over his play sheet?

:lol2:

The numbers look really bad and they are terrible, but to the eyes it looks even worse!

Buffalo looks like the AFC SB team. Good QB, WR, RB and very good defense. Right now they look better than KC but you can never completely count KC out.
