Still do.I agree it was win-win but I don't agree with everything you say there, fwiw. Goff helped Detroit resurrect a team from nothing. I don't think it matters in terms of weighing the trade whether the Lions win a super bowl or not.I see it as Rams 1, Lions 1. In terms of the 2 players, both Goff and Stafford got better situations...while at the same time, both qbs contributed mightily to their new teams being resurrected. by AvengerRam 3 hours 14 minutes ago Total posts: 8712 Joined: Oct 03 2017 Lake Mary, Florida Hall of Fame Re: Goff: Blast me later POST #19 Can we do Jalen Ramsey at premium $$$ vs. Byron Young on rookie deal now? It's a media thing and they have never been super kind to the Rams IMO.After the Rams won the SB it was clear there were many media people who felt like they had a stake in this conversation .. and have been pulling for the Bengals and Lions ever since. The narrative is that if one or both win a SB it will be that they did it the "right" way and thus long term did it better than the Rams. It really doesn't have much to do with the Lions or Bengals per se. If you care about media optics (I do more than I should), it's obvious. If you don't care, then it's all irrelevant. It's kind of like 1999 all over again .. there were a lot of influential media people unhappy about that result and spent the next 5 years trying to minimize it, or look for ways to pretend it didn't happen (thank you SB36). by /zn/ 3 hours 25 minutes ago Total posts: 6898 Joined: Jun 28 2015 Maine Hall of Fame Goff: Blast me later POST #18 ramsww wrote:Agreed and Goff has to deliver which he has but the difference now is Stafford 1 - Goff Zero.
