and I am agreeing with you, I totally understand your point.

But I think the reason why he got snubbed,
both Gibbs & Jacobs had better scrimmage yardage for 2024 after 17 games.

.....and they played for better teams! That's the bottom line with Pro Bowl selections. Unless you are a phenomenal talent (Aaron Donald, JJ Watt, Tyreek Hill, Trent Williams, etc), sometimes, your team's record has a lot to do with it. In the case of Gibbs and Jacobs, I think it was their scrimmage yards AND their YPC.

Verse hasn't had the sack numbers the second half of the season. I heard he was off the field more than usual in the Buffalo game because he was losing containment on Allen. The sacks haven't been there but the pressures the last 8 games were almost as much as the first 8. So maybe he's playing smarter knowing its not all about sacks. There are so many mobile quarterbacks in this league. Containing them should always be a part of the game plan. Even at the expense of sacks.

What would make everything feel even better,
in which we only have one pro bowler selected,
not including alternates.

Is to win the Super Bowl!!!! :D :D :D

Especially, for those teams that have more pro bowlers than us,
and they didn't even make the playoffs in Blue!!!
and for those in favor of making it to the SB in Red!!!

Rank
3 Jared Verse
Los Angeles Rams · OLB
DRAFTED: Round 1, No. 19 overall

Pressure is production, and no rookie provided more of it than this heavy-handed beast off the edge. By Next Gen Stats’ count, Verse racked up 76 QB pressures, ranking fourth in the entire league, behind only Myles Garrett, Danielle Hunter and Trey Hendrickson. Heady company to keep for a former zero-star recruit.

Throw in the rest of the 2024 draft class, as well as the class from 2023 along with some from 2022 and these gents have had a helluva run in the draft room. Here's hoping it continues in 2025, so they can be Super Bowl contenders/favorites for a few years. Fans worry about Stafford retiring but think about that position. QB is the most difficult position to play but it's gotta be the most rewarding and fun position to play too. Protect him with a good OL and talented offense and the guy might play a few more years. Or simply put....cross that bridge when you get there.
