The Rams should have a major home-field advantage based on the crowd forecast. According to Vivid Seats’ Fan Forecast, Rams fans are projected to make up 90% of the crowd at SoFi Stadium. On several occasions this season, Rams fans have been outnumbered at home – particularly by Eagles, Raiders and 49ers supporters – but it’ll be a favorable crowd on Monday night.

That should help both the offense and defense. The offense will be able to operate with a normal cadence at the line, and if the crowd is loud when the Rams are on defense, it could lead to false starts and delay of game penalties by the Vikings offense.

Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell admitted that the team was caught off-guard by how loud Rams fans were in Week 8 when the Rams and Vikings squared off on Thursday Night Football, so he’s preparing for a hostile environment this week.

“I’ll say this. When we went there on Thursday night, one of the things that caught us after a really fast start scoring two touchdowns on our first two drives, Matthew Stafford and that offense was able to answer with touchdowns, the noise affected us a little bit later on, maybe a little bit more so than we thought,” O’Connell said this week. “So we’ve got to be prepared for that, not knowing exactly what it’s going to be like.”

The Rams haven’t always had a real home-field advantage since moving back to Los Angeles but it sounds like they will on Monday night – and that could be a difference-maker for Sean McVay’s team.

I think one of the reasons why we will have more RAMs fan at the game,
for those RAMs fan that don't have season tickets,
they were able to purchase tickets ahead of time prior to knowing which opponents,
So those opponents didn't purchase in advance.
During the regular season,
people from other team fans can make plans for upcoming games,
but during the playoffs, that's kind of hard to do,
especially trying to get hotels, the prices sky rises to include ticket prices.

Although I always have concerns about which Rams team shows up to what games, we can't doubt the growth the team has shown overall. Even if there has been some regression in some areas. That being said, I actually feel A LOT better about our chances after looking at the Vikings schedule this year. It was an absolute cake walk. We ABSOLUTELY have a chance to win Monday night, and a good one!

If our offense shows up at B grade or higher and defense gets after Darnold I love our chances.
Also watching Q Lake interview the Rams are full aware what Campbell said to KOC, a little more edge never hurt someone...

After that showing in Detroit, he's probably expecting a lot of blitzing. I'm hoping they show blitz often but most times let their front four do the work and drop back to pick a couple off. I want to see our run game take off, some of those WR screens LaFleur had a lot of success with vs Seattle and for gawd sakes, send Tutu deep a few times! I think it's gonna take 27-30 points to get this done.

Money coming in on our boys.

This is a hard game to handicap. How do you predict which Stafford shows up? And similarly, which Darnold shows up?

All things being equal, I give Rams the edge being at home with McVay.

Game may very well come down to the kicker, and ours is looking pretty darn good right now.

Rams 26 Vikings 24

Spread now pick 'em at a lot of places...

I think that defensive strategy will be part of what Shula is coming up. He will have some, let’s call them exotic, blitz packages. And some sim blitzes out of some of those same looks. I expect the D to play their asses off. The offense?? No idea what they are gonna bring to the party.

Hey guys, new to the BB. I want to believe the rams have a good chance to win, and I do, but the Vikings will be more prepared this time.

What are people's thoughts on why the screen pass worked with LaFleur/Garappolo but were not working anywhere near as well (last 3 games) with McVay/Stafford.
