Tyreek Hill didn't want to play for KC anymore unless he got paid BIG. He gets paid in Miami and now says "I'm opening the door....I'm out bruh". Really? Somebody will trade for him.

Don’t be shocked if it’s the Rams. I don’t see it but you never know. Do we draft a QB, move Kupp, promote Whittworth and continue to rebuild the D? If McVay feels he needs a #1 deep threat Hill would be interested but I have no idea what his situ is.

I thought Beckham was a diva but he was a total pro when he played for LA.

I don’t think Tyreek is quite of that cloth, but in McSnead I trust…

I’d also factor in the arrest incident which Hill implied was the origin of his wrist injury causing him to miss games and likely require off season surgery. Yeah, I’d take him in a hot second if Kupp retired or the need arises. Miami may have left a bad taste with his off field experience more than the team.

As much as I love Cooper Kupp his production is nowhere near his contract. My hope is for some kind of renegotiation to bring that cap number down and that he remains a Ram as a No.3 WR, but they need find a No. 2 going into next season. Cutting Kupp provides $7.5M more in cap space while keeping him tied up nearly $30M in cap space.

I think what Kupp does in the playoffs will illuminate what happens next. I could see some type of restructure if he will be less of a focal point. I can’t see an outright release. Maybe a trade. But I doubt that too. Unless his skills just fall off a cliff.

Thing is, Kupp is cerebral and blocks really well. In fact, Whittington has been brought up in the same system— he blocks more than he catches.

I agree Kupp contract doesn’t work long term and eventually, the blocking threat doesn’t work if you aren’t going to separate and catch now and again.

I think this was why a player like Bowers was clutch. Also why we wanted CMC. I suspect that’s going to be high on our draft agenda— tho I hope they find a way to shore up our OL also.

I think #9 gets blinders on at times. It used to be Kupp, Kupp, Kupp whenever we needed a big play. Now it's Puka, Puka, Puka. He has shown confidence in DRob and Tutu at times and should give Whittington more looks. Tyler Johnson has made some nice plays too. IMO, McVay's plays and route combos indicate who should get the ball but sometimes that guy is not open and maybe #9 forces it in there. Sometimes EVERYBODY is open and it doesn't matter. Here's hoping he's got some good things planned for MNF.

We finally have our full arsenal available (minus Corum and Long).

Kupp, Puka, DRob, Tutu, Whittington, Johnson, Kyren, Rivers, Higbee, Parkinson and the OL. We ought to be able to put a good offensive game plan together and if successful, the young, fast D will benefit. The worst part of it all is waiting 7 days!!!

I agree with the original sentiment (no divas) but come on, Hill, Nakua, Kupp with Whit & Robinson or even Hill, Nakua & Whittington. We’d own the West with no holes to dig out of and finish building the D & Oline in the draft.
