I was certainly rooting for them while the game was being played. But would i rather host either MN/Detroit and the probably go play the other the following week with a win or would i rather host WA and likely play at the Eagles with a win?I'm really not sure and there are a lot of other possible combinations... I was happy to see that the depth looks above average when you consider they were playing against a decent team with a winning record playing all their starters. This makeshift OL gave up 3 sacks I believe when the starters hadn't given up a sack in four games. That accounted for the short clock in Jimmy's head. This had to be the best game I've seen from Rivers. But they have to hope Corum can play against the Vikings. It's obvious that Noteboom is strictly a LT. He looked rusty as he hasn't played the position all year but he held his own in this game. It was also clear that McMahon needs another year as a center. The difference between J. Jackson and Dotson at RG was also obvious. It wouldn't surprise me if Jackson isn't released at the end of the season. The major thing I took away from this game was that Stafford's lack of mobility really stands out. Whether it's Jimmy or someone else I think the Ram offense can't continue to evolve with a physically limited QB1. I also feel that Robinson and Atwell will be gone next year and they will be replaced with Whittington and Smith. I think Tyler Johnson will make the Rams 5 deep at WR. I can see Higbee playing one more year along with Davis Allen and Parkinson and Long being released. This means they will probably draft a TE on the third day. From a roster analysis perspective this was a good game to see where the Rams are. As with the last two drafts I expect this draft to be focused on upgrading CB and TE and possibly QB even if they are drafting a long term QB2. They had the right idea with Bennett but poor predraft evaluation in his case. IMO Wolford was better than Bennett is likely ever to be. by ramsman34 5 months 3 weeks ago Total posts: 10040 Joined: Apr 16 2015 Back in LA baby! Too bad because he was a good compliment to Williams. Well it's not like Kyren isn't used to a heavy work load. He needs to stay healthy because Rivers simply doesn't carry the same level of threat. That was clear by the way the Seahawks played him.Rivers played better this game than in previous games. Hopefully, he can continue this level of play. Occasional snaps to give Kyren a break isn't a problem. Having to step into the starter role will impact the game significantly in the playoffs where everything is magnified. by actionjack 5 months 3 weeks ago Total posts: 5180 Joined: May 19 2016 Sactown Hall of Fame Week 18: Seattle @ Rams POST #78 /zn/ wrote:The OL, including Noteboom, played better than I had expected/predicted.JG I see is still not a clutch qb. Throwing the ball into the ground on 4th and goal made NO SENSE. Far better off tossing it up for grabs in the endzone. Until then I thought that Jimmy did a great job. by Elvis 5 months 3 weeks ago Total posts: 41502 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: Week 18: Seattle @ Rams POST #80 TOPIC AUTHOR RFU Season Ticket Holder Reply 8 / 10 1 8 10 Display: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by: AuthorPost timeSubject Sort by: AscendingDescending Jump to: Forum Rams/NFL Other Sports Rams Fans United Q&A's Board Business 95 posts Jul 04 2025

He isn’t playing against Vikings and probably gone for the rest of the season. by Dare 5 months 3 weeks ago Total posts: 780 Joined: Mar 09 2024 Tucson, AZ formerly of San Diego Veteran Week 18: Seattle @ Rams POST #77 Yeah I just heard about that. That's interesting because in the previous few games, screens did not work a high percentage of the time, defenses were all over them like they knew the playcalls. But not today.Jimmy def better at the screen game then Stafford, at least with the timing. It's probably the only thing he is better at.My overall thoughts on the game... -Surprising the Rams were in it with a makeshift line but the screen game was on fire. Seattle continued to take the cheese.- We have our kicker, great to see Karty going off from distance at home, should serve well for the playoff game at sofi.- Please McVay/Stafford get the other WR's involved. We need more Whitt, TJ and Tutu and way less Kupp. Criminal not to have TJ on the field in your redzone package.-Good overall effort, lets see if the offense shows up on Monday night, hopefully the defense can pressure Darnold into mistakes.
