I was totally impressed with the team we’ve sent out today even though we lost.
With only two starters on offense, Avila & D-Robinson.
while rotating the defensive first unit with the second unit.
Then during the second half, mostly using the second unit,
especially during the 4th qtr,
Going against the Hags starters on both sides of the ball.

The only mistake the defense made was the offsides on Thomas,
in which it caused us in losing a fumble turnover in the 4th qtr,
that could have made the Hags from scoring and the game easier for us to win.

Offense:
OL
They actually played good IMO, Noteboom & McClendon both played pretty good.
The only one that gave up sacks was Avila once against a former pro bowler, Leonard Williams.
Then the other two sack was giving up on C/McMahon I believe.
But OL still gave up too many QB Hits, 10 hits, but once again, against the backups.

QB/JimmyGQ
He had a pretty good game for a backup, there were about three passes,
that he seemed to rush his throws, in which he didn’t hit his open targets.
Stats: 27/comp, 41/att, 65% comp, 334yds, 2/TD, 1/INT, 97/passer rating.

WR
Very Impress with Whittington, and during his ST assignments too.
D-Robinson had a nice game too.
Tutu had some nice catches, but at the same time,
JimmyGQ missed him several times or just threw to Tutu late.

RB
Rivers looked good

TE
Higbee had two nice catches, one for a first down and the other for a TD

On the downside for the offense,
We had two injuries.

RB/Corum, looks like he had a cast put on his arm and could miss the playoffs.
TE/Long, had a knee injury and also could miss the playoffs.

Defense
I felt they played pretty good, especially rotating between the first & second unit.

Causing two sacks & 4/QB Hits.

Durant actually played really well, with two/PD

ST
Karty was on target with 4/4 FGs, with two 55+ yds, with 57 & 58 yds.
KR/Whittington had two nice KR, for a total of 80yds

We fall into the fourth seed,
In which I feel it will be a better seed for us,
because our first game will be at home against non-running QBs.
Then if we win, that game, then we go to the next game indoors.

It was a descent game today, had the backups playing and giving them playing time,
just in case they have to play during the playoffs, and that’s for those that doesn’t rotate with the ones.

That being said, with the two injuries, I foresee S/J. Johnson & ILB/Reeder getting activated to the 53.

The loss of Corum hurts more than Long. Only 3 TEs for the post season and K Will will be getting almost all the snaps at RB. Rivers is a trustworthy fill in to give K Will a blow and can pass pro. He’s just not gonna give you exceptional play. Really hope we see more J Whit in the playoffs. Dude is dynamic.

Our defense will have their work cut out with either offense.

Biggest plus was Karty beefing up his confidence. He was crushing his kicks.

That could be huge next week.

You left out Forbes. He played well as his name was seldom called and he had some attitude. Made a great tackle then whiffed on the next but looked like a decent CB and may help if we make a run in the playoffs which would in turn save a high draft pick this year!

I was surprised Higbee played as much as he did, to a lesser extent Avila too.

Karty was great but if his problem is mental, we gotta see him when it matters which wasn't today...

Tutu had a rough game.. dropped catchable balls. Disappointed, hope he snaps out of it, but it’s gonna be the Puka show next Monday. And Higs is looking as good as ever…

The depth of this team is pretty impressive. They could and should have beaten a very good Seattle team playing all their starters.

More J Whitt would be a good thing. That dude gets north and south immediately.

I kind of disagree, I know for sure he had one drop ball that he should have caught.

But the other, the defensive back, knock it out of his hands, it was a good defensive play.

Then the other throw was a missed target by JimmyGQ, he threw it over Tutu's head.

The rest of his targets, Tutu caught 5 balls, but all for short yardage,
except for 1 deep reception.

I agree with your disagreement. I don’t mean give up on Tutu. Just saying this was his night to shine and earn a some additional playing time. I didn’t mean to say he was bad (which I did.). I meant he could’ve been great.

He played fine, but not great. I dinged him for the ball that got knocked out cause he didn’t secure it. Sure it was great defense, but great players make catches nobody else can.

I hope to see more Tutu against the Vikings on 3rd when we need him to disappear into soft coverage..
