The Lions can only hope their offense can keep pace with a red hot Vikings team.

533 points in 16 games. I think the Lions offense could have kept pace with TGSOT. Their 64 offensive TDs are more than the GSOT scored any year from 99-01. And they added 28 FGs, 4 more than the best output from Wilkins those 3 seasons. Will they keep pace with the Vikings? The chances are pretty good.

Interesting stat I saw elsewhere. Since the NFL went to 5 or more teams in the playoffs, No. 1 seeds have made the SB 49 times. No. 5 seeds...3 times.

Personally, I'm rooting for Campbell's hubris to cost the Lions a playoff win again somewhere along the line.

This season a few teams stand out over the rest. But they still have their weaknesses. Detroit's defense is iffy. Minnesota's defense should be good but at times they have break downs in coverage. If they aren't getting to the quarterback you can move the ball on them.

GB is solid but not dominant in any phase. A decent defense can slow down their offense. Philly is strong in the trenches on both sides. They might have the strongest overall roster in the NFC. Hurts is not the passer guys like Goff and Stafford are, but his mobility is a difference maker. Contain him and you have a chance to slow them down.

Those are the top teams in my opinion. The Rams and Washington are in the next level. Both teams can create problems. The Commanders have a rookie quarterback so you have to wonder how he will handle the magnitude of the games.

Rams have an elite passer but the offense has struggled lately. Although I doubt anyone wants to face him when he needs a touchdown in the last two minutes. The defense had their problems but lately much better. If the defense can keep games from getting away from them early I like their chances late in games.

Minnesota, Detroit, Green Bay, Washington, Tampa Bay, these are all among the best, highest scoring offenses in the league.

Rams are gonna have to get their passing game in gear and put the ball in the end zone on a regular basis come playoff time, if you ask me...

Looking at ticket Master,

I would say there is about 45% to 50% of the 73k seats for resale/red and standard/blue tickets.

Out of those tickets I would say 40% are standard/blue tickets out of those 45 to 50%.

It would be nice to see those RAMs fan buying up the standard/blue tickets up.

If those seats could be bought by RAMs fans,
that would at least be 56k seats taken by RAMs fan at a minimum.

That would give us a home field advantage!

Sam Darnold has been rejuvenated with the Vikings. He's had a terrific season. The talk is about next year. Will the Vikings re-sign him? Will they franchise him? Will some other QB needy team swoop in and grab him? I know it's just 1 game but can all that be undone if he lays an egg vs the Lions? How about if he lays an egg against the Lions and the Vikings go 0-1 in the postseason? Things can change in an instant in the NFL.
