It looks to me like Stafford can use a game off to rest his arm/body. So we’re gonna see a lot of Corum and JimmyG. I’m not really sure what SEA gets out of playing all their starters 4 quarters on the road in a pseudo exhibition game. ~ max ~“The consciousness of good intentions disdains ambiguity.” - Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers by PARAM 3 days 13 hours ago Total posts: 12765 Joined: Jul 15 2015 Just far enough North of Philadelphia Hall of Fame Week 18: Seattle @ Rams POST #22 max wrote:McVay made it fairly clear that he’s playing backups. I will be interested in seeing McMahan if he plays. With Dedich at C and J. Jack at LG that would make McMahon their RG and only he would be without game experience. If they have another gem in the rough like with Dedich that would go a long way into setting their OL depth for next year. When the Eagles took him in the 6th round this year, I thought they had gotten real value for the pick. As we saw with Corbett, teams aren't always patient about developing OL. With luck the Rams may have another Corbett type of OG. If they stick to playing backups on both sides, then we could see Durant and Forbes as their boundary CBs. That would be interesting if we do because unless they extend Witherspoon which IMO they should do, they would be looking at Durant and Forbes as their outside CBs next year. I still expect them to draft an OT and CB on the second day but CBs take time to develop. It's rare they play well as rookies. Winning and losing aside, it will be an interesting game to see just how good or not their depth is and it will go a long way in giving us a glimpse at where their draft focus will be.
