An amazing feat of 105 receptions by Nacua falls to Brock Bowers.... Also Mike Didka's record of receiving yards by a rookie TE was overtaken by Bowers.

I still say, it was great they didn't get a chance to trade up.

I was praying for the Verse pick & then to top it off,

they traded up for Fiske pick!!!

This was the best scenario for the RAMs organization.

But would Bowers have broke the record had he been drafted by the Rams? Or Green Bay? Or Detroit? No way. The Raiders have nobody but Bowers.

agreed.

And the Raiders would have been better off to trade up to get Nix .

Bowers is fun to watch though

It's kind of funny that the Rams put Puka in a meaningless game week 18 just to get him a record that lasted less than a year.

This year's draft has worked out great for the Rams but who's to say how other drafts would've worked out, could've been great too...

I don't agree. The media talks about Bowers hands, speed, size and physicality., but...it is his route running that is elite... It takes a top 3 NFL corner to hang with him.

Give Bowers a top tier QB and a WR that can draw coverage away from him, and the sky is the limit. ...as you said, he didn't have that

That's not what I'm talking about. He's a stud. For sure. But he's all Las Vegas has. If he were on a team with Jefferson and Addison, or Amon St. Brown/Jameson Williams, the group of WRs from GB, Puka and Kupp, etc. (read: 2 very good WRs) he would not be getting the number of targets he is with the Raiders. Just wouldn't happen because star WRs are mostly divas and demand/get more targets. He (144), McBride (136) and Kelce (133) have way more targets than other TEs (Jonnu Smith #4 with 99) because there is nobody else to throw to on their respective offenses. At least McBride has Harrison, Jr and Kelce has DHop and Worthy and so, less targets than Bowers. Jonnu has Hill and Waddle and is way down the list for TE targets. They may or may not be in the same class as Bowers but they're not that far behind. JMHO. Let's see how he does if LV ever gets a good offensive coach and talent at the WR/QB position.

Impressive for a TE certainly. I'd just point out Malik Nabers is going pass Puka (1 reception behind) and 4 behind Bowers. And he's missed 2 games.
