NFC West Week 14

Seahawks: 8-5, Beat Cards (Div)
Rams: 7-6, Beat Bills (AFC common)
Cards: 6-7 Lost @ Hawks (Div)
Whiners: 6-7 Beat Bears (Conf)

Rams O was on fire. Huge blocked punt do a TD Defense was. Ehhh.

Quick turnaround then take in the hated ones in the road. TNF - and this game is HUGE

A win over SF and the niners would have to win their remaining three games, while we lost 2 of our last 3 to have the advantage. As Karnacke said, "the Rams control their destiny".

If niners lose they are done. They would lose all tiebreakers with the teams in the division.

Rams have to win 3 games with one of them Seattle. Here is hoping GB and Minnesota beat hawks and it wont matter.

Still a tough battle. Far from done. Far from in it. A win Thursday and I think its there for the taking. If yesterday was a springboard for the offense they could easily win out and go 11-6. And taking the number 3 spot. Avoiding the number one seed in the second round if they got that far.

One thing I'm concerned with Thursday is the 49ers found their offense yesterday. And that was one big win for us. Emotionally draining. As much as I hoped Buffalo might have a let down after clinching the division, I hope we don't have one after a big win against a championship caliber opponent. Hopefully McVay and vets keep the young guys grounded and focused for Thursday.

The equation for the season is simple. Win out and your in the playoffs. It means the wildcard round is a home game vs the #2 wildcard team which probably will be GB.

With luck someone will beat Philly in the divisional round. I hope the Vikings beat Tampa and face the Eagles in Philly while the Rams face the Lions in the divisional round. If the Vikings beat Philly like they could do, and the Rams beat the Lions then the NFC Championship game will be in LA between Vikings and Rams.

The SB LVI playoffs went exactly as I hoped it would. IMO this would be the best scenario for the Rams which is why it's so important to get the NFCW title.

Wildcard listing home team vs traveling team:

Tampa vs Vikings
Rams vs GB
Philly vs Commanders

Divisional round:

Lions vs Rams
Philly vs Vikings

NFC Championship:

Rams vs Vikings

SB:

Chiefs/Steelers vs Rams

Rams win SB and Stafford retires with Darnold signed as Rams new QB1.

That's how my tea leaves read it!! LOL

NFC West Week 15

Seahawks: 8-5, Host Packers(Conf, common) MUST LOSE
Rams: 7-6, @ whiners (Div) HUGE GAME
Cards: 6-7 Host Pats (AFC common)
Whiners: 6-7 Host Rams (Div) Fuck the whiners.

Big week for Rams and Hawks. We are either alone in first, stay in second, or drop to a tie for last.

This whiner game is absolutely must win, IMO.

The Rams can really afford just 1 more loss. They could lose to San Fran, win the other 3 but Seattle would have to lose to Green Bay, Minnesota or Chicago. Even if it were a 3 way tie with Seattle and San Fran, the 2nd tiebreaker after head-to-head is division record. And if the Rams lost to SF but beat Seattle and Arizona, they'd be 4-2 in the division. Seattle 3-3 and SF 3-3, at best.
