I think if more vids like this gets out, they will start doubling Verse-- unforunately. He's starting to terrorize like AD. But AD couldn't even really be doubled, because if he wants through-- he gets through.

Hope Verve splits defenders if they start to double him. Then he might just be something like (or better than!) the irreplaceable AD.

I was looking at Verse stats on the NFC league for both DE & OLB,

Verse:
3rd in Comb tackles
4th in Solo Tackles
1st in Asst

1st QB knock downs
3rd Pressures
3rd TFL
4th QB Hurries
2nd QB/Hits
12th in Sacks (if he gets at least three sacks, he'll jump up to the top 3 or 5)


Based off these numbers, Verse is on his way making the PB, IMO

The league should review this, from what I viewed from rewatching the tape,

the ball was coming out after Verse hit his hand before the QB was moving his arm forward.

You can see the angle of the ball was pointed towards the sideline and not downfield.

Verse should be credit with a force fumble and a sack.
