Don't get me wrong. I have always liked Kyren Williams but IMO he's done. His fumbling is getting worse not better. He fumbled 2 or 3 times last year and now has 5 at the halfway point this year.

The Rams need to end their obsession with small RBs. They need to go back to the future by looking at their own HOF RB Steven Jackson. He was a first round pick #24 but it's what he was physically that was impressive.

Steven when drafted was 6'2" and timed at 4.45 at his pro day, weighing in at 241 lbs he was exactly what you wanted in a power RB. He was bigger and faster than Williams and would usually shake off arm tackles and power through others. Jackson had 18 fumbles over his career that spanned 2004 - 2015.

Williams has already had seven or eight in the past 1.5 seasons. You would hope that he could turn his career around but the Ram's can't wait to see if he does. Time to start Corum for the remainder of the season then draft a big, fast, power RB next year.

I seem to recall the complaint about SJ (early on) was he went down too easy for a guy his size. Of course there was a certain 49ers CB who would challenge that complaint.
