Now personally I dont think the Buffalo at home is a gimme loss, but I also expect to at lose one out of the cards/niners/seahawks). I think a ton can happen in the next 45 days. Are the niners done now?? Are the Cards doing the second half swoon now? Will Seattle stub there toe like they normally do under Geno?

Like PARAM mentioned we have 6 games to improve and playoff experience at worst would be great experience for this young team.

Yeah, now's not the time for post-mortem. It's too close and each one of these teams has shown they can fook up big time. The Cardinals scored 6 points against Seattle after averaging almost 30 the previous 3 games. Now they go to Minnesota. San Fran has now lost 2 straight and play Buffalo this weekend. Seattle, after losing to the Rams in agonizing fashion, has won two straight division games. They play at the Jets. The Rams play New Orleans. There could easily be a 4 way tie in the West. The thing the Rams have to hang their hat on is division games. Gotta beat San Fran and Seattle a second time and Arizona once to even the score with them. All the while winning winnable games outside the division. The more I look at the schedules, the more it looks like 9-8 could win the divison with the right tie breakers.

Ya, might be a bit harsh for sure. But, if the offense can’t perform and the defense blows assignments like that, even lesser teams than the Eagles will beat them. That’s what I mean by zero margin. They can’t make mistakes like that on both sides of the ball in the same game. There are enough talented teams left on the schedule that the Rams have to play at their highest level to win.

And yes, making the playoffs would be great experience for this team. I set myself up by expecting more. But, once the playoffs start, I suppose anything can happen.

Speaking of teams in the NFC West.

Both Lockett and Metcalf were not practicing 4 days before their game with the Jets due to injury

All right all right all right - Too Many McConaughey inspirational YouTube shorts. Lol

NFC West Week 13

Seahawks: 6-5, @ Jets (AFC Common)
Cards: 6-5, @ Vikings (Conf)
Rams: 5-6, @ Saints (Conf)
Whiners: 5-6 @ Bills (AFC common)

As must win as it gets this time of year. They are all now, unless our NFC west foes all go on losing skids. Rams rebound BIG and thump the Saints!! I think the Hawks win and the Cards and Whiners both lose.

I hope the 49ers suffer.

One thing is for sure.....you can never be sure about anything in the NFL. The only thing we can hope is the Rams win this week. What happens with the other 3 West teams is gonna happen. None of them scare me. It's simple......do your job and see where it takes you. The only game we have to win is this week's game. That assures we're still in the hunt.

Since yesterday was Thanksgiving, I'm thankful that the Niners play in Buffalo, and that our game against the Bills is in California.

We're a middle of the road .500 team. And we're playing like it. We simply start too slow offensively. Nice win but we're going to have to hope the winner of the West is 9-8.

Red wanted more positivity, fun, hope, etc. so I will say this. At some point, consistency has to take a turn for the better. This team has shown the ability to be very good in. It’s sides of the ball. They are very young on D and at center. Next week is going to be a very difficult game to win. The Bills are really good. The beauty of next week is that Seattle plays at AZ. If AZ wins, both teams will be 7-6. The winners have the Bears so should win. If they lose tonight, they would be 6-7 upon beating the Bears. We would be 6-7 if we lose to the Bills. Then we have all 3 of our NFC west opponents plus the Jets remaining. No reason we won’t be in the NFC west race until the end. We beat the Bills and we will be in fantastic shape down the stretch.

I think we win the divisions at 10-7; 11-6 if we beat the Bills. Yes I have us running the table after the Bills game and maybe starting with well, the win today. To me, everything hinges on the OL play. They play well ant it unlocks the offense. And u locked offense can make if difficult for other teams to run the ball as much as they would like. It helps the defense by keeping them fresh by having to take fewer snaps.
