Assclown!! He deserves to have that pointer finger broken but then it's off to the races. Fines, bail, court appearances. For what? Can't even say "fuck off" because that might be all he needs to make a mistake and take a swing. God forbid you hit him and he hits his head on something. Best to stand up and walk away. But don't you just want to say, "hey asshole, which number did you have on out there on the field today?"

The way that dude is behaving, it's possible the Rams fan isn't entirely the innocent party here, but OTOH, I lived near Philly for 15 years and they can be pretty psycho.

At any rate, the correct way to handle this is to hold up two fingers and say "two rings" over and over.

I've lived in the greater Philly area for 66 years and there are some decent Philly fans (Phillies, Eagles, etc). But there are many assholes (I'm sure every fan base has some share).

Philly fans are blue collar, like Rocky....... and many, like Rocky, are not the sharpest tools in the shed. "Yo Adrian". But at the stadium be it, the Linc and before that Vet Stadium, they're like jackals.....louder and more brave......because they have backup (and beer). I have witnessed felonious behavior in their house (and outside in the parking lots) and saw even more on the news.

The fans I choose to interact with are civil. But once they get convinced the Eagles are gonna win and start talking shit, I usually say, "yeah, sure, this is the year you don't get disappointed again".

I wonder about this sometimes. My experience at NBA games have been pleasant. Yes, there's open ribbing between fans, but nothing with brutish intent.

The 76ers were visiting Kings in Sacto, older gentleman was at the end of the row, came over and asked courteously during half time if it was all right if he sat next to my friend, who was wearing a 76ers Iverson jersey. The seat was never occupied. My friend obliged.

The two spent the rest of the game talking 76ers & BB game stuff; 15-20 years difference in age. It was great just to listen too.

I've tended to see the opposite more often at NFL games.

I describe it as, in the same way "Seinfeld" kind of nails what New Yorkers are like, "It's Always Sunny" is uncanny in depicting the aggressive stupidity of many Philadelphians.
