Playoff races are too competitive to give some teams a disadvantage of a short week for prepping for a playoff determining game. It's simply corporate greed without regard to the quality of play The NFL did not do any favors for the Rams and Niners giving them a short week. If they are going to play on a short week then from December on the NFL should play these games on Friday night or even Saturday night. The fact that they are playing on Thursday night proves the NFL's supposed concern for player safety is a sham.
