Tacklings Tackling. Hes got the tough part down. Getting to the Quarterback get off. You can teach tackling thats all technique. Jack em up.

Hes got all the tools. You are looking at a top 5 edge rusher. We need that.

Most important positions in football edge Quarterback Left Tackle Kicker

We got three of them figured out. You win super bowls with great edge rushers. Im glad we got Verse.

So true. Shut down corners help you get to super-bowls. Love to have both. Early return says we have the kicker.

I'm not surprised at all. Before the draft I had him as the highest rated edge in the draft. I was stupified he dropped so far and elated the Rams took him. I think perhaps the most under rated DT was Fiske. He has the talent to be very special. Again I was surprised when he dropped and elated when the Rams traded up for him.

In the next draft, QB (if they don't grab a vet via FA or trade), CB and OT. They have their bridge LT in McDermott so they could take one in the second or even the third round. Dotson needs to play better or he could lose out to Leveston when he comes off the PS. That said Leveston can play either RG or RT. Unlike McClendon, KT looks like he has better feet. If Warren makes this team it will have to be as a OG, as his heavy feet exposed him. That can be improved but it will take a lot of focus and dedication by McClendon to improve his foot quickness.

I think this OL will have to be totally rebuilt in the offseason. Both Jackson and Dotson don't look like the players they had hoped. Alaric looks like a good backup at this point. But he's a FA next year so I expect him to move on.

I feel Avila will stay at LG as will Limmer at Center. Bruss is proving he'd be a good backup so IMO he will be back in a reserve role next year. I can see Leveston playing RG or RT next year or at least in contention for a start. He's shorter than the Rams might like but he has decent arm length and looks to have good feet. In college he was solid in the run game especially for his second level blocks.

I always felt both Limmer and Leveston would play above their draft position. Limmer as a 6th round rookie is playing well as a first year starter. He will only be better next year as he can build off this experience. Avila is wasted at center and needs to lock down the LG position. Dotson is really struggling. Hopefully he can rebound after the bye week to get completely healthy. If he can I see him being gone next year.

I hope he and Young - who also had a really nice game yesterday - continue getting better and better, as they should. If this team can just get wins, they should be peaking at the end of the season. Have to hope it all comes together then.

It's inside where we are still weak against the run. HOEGHT had his best game yesterday! So did Young and Verse is not only a very good pass rusher, he is a monster vs. the run. I also noticed that the extra 15 lbs of muscle Young gained in the off season has really improved his play.
That was a very good D performance, but what happened to our O? THREE times on 3rd or 4th and one or two, Sean called the exact same play. Deep hand off rushing to the left side and all 3 got stuffed. Sean called a very conservative game.
