Since they are already 0-2. Last year they were as worse as 3-6 before winning 7 out of 8 to make the playoffs. I think last year though they werent as injury plagued as they currently are through these 2 games. And 4 of those losses during that 3-6 start they were very competitive in.

I think they must be 2-3 at the bye considering the NFC losses you referenced. This is going to be one weird season. Hell, has already started that way.

I was hard on Reeder & Rozeboom early on but the 1st Q was ugly. They got better as the game went on. Still, we need Speights. CB White always seems a step behind. He’s that close to actually making a play resulting in toast. Not giving up but we need Witherspoon against the Bears. We need more pressure but next week may not be the week to chase a QB around an open field.

It feels like the entire team started to gel knowing Kupp/Nacua/Higbee won’t be back anytime soon. Kyren is in midseason form and Stafford looks great. Our TEs are weak. Can’t catch but they make up for it by not blocking. I hope Allen’s back isn’t chronic. Bears can be beat. GO RAMS!

Let's not forget the Rams had really awful stretches in '21 and '23, seasons that turned out pretty good.

BTW i think it's Aaron Schatz who says statistically the first two games of a season tell you less about a team than any other two games (except the last two when teams might be resting, etc.)...

Held the whiners to 3 in the second half. My bad. Held them to 10. But 24 overall with some very bad coverage breakdowns and stupid penalties. Pass rushers need to learn how to get back under control once they beat their blocker. More whiffs today than at a softball game for the blind.

And the coverage simply has to get better. They got torched again multiple times.

But a dub is a dub.

Might have held them to less if somebody spied Purdy. The guy scrambled 7 freaking times (6 in the 2nd half)! Why? Because the coverage was there.

Ironically, they had 255 of their 425 yards in the 2nd half.
96 of their 137 yards rushing and 159 of their 288 yards passing.
But only 10 of their 24 points. Go figure.
